I couldnt decide on which gen 4 M.2 SSD to buy for my new PC. Three candidates at the time were WD SN850, Samsung 980 Pro and Sabrent Rocket Plus All 1TBs. I did my research and found from some benchmarks that the WD and Samsung are slightly ahead of the sabrent with the WD often coming on top however, people also claimed that this drives runs very hot underload which made me question it at the beginning. After having it for 2 weeks now I see that it runs at around 53 degrees Celsius which isnt bad at all. If you invest in a decent cooling you should be more than fine! In summary, this is the fastest 1TB drive with no compromises.

Das einzige was man bemängeln könnte, wäre die billige Verpackung. Die Firma Sabrent legt nämlich ein Metall-Case hinzu, was ich von WD erwartet hätte. Aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Aktuell kann ich nur sagen, dass die SSD TOP ist.

Quick easily installation in my PS5, I was lead to believe the item came with a heat sink as the majority of this range do, unfortunately it did not so I had to purchase one separately.

I wasnt sure about buying this m2 because i didnt know the bran of the ssd. But now that i have it. Well, its cool and it works.

Ottimo SSD WS ,ma fate attenzione al montaggio nel vostro PC ,avendo PCIe 4.0 lo vede in PCIe gen3 x4 se lo montate nella porta M2_2 va messo nello slot M2_1 in quanyo PCI2 4.0 ,montato su ( Asus rog strix b550-f gaming wi-fi ) ,max down 3270 nel secondo slot, ma nel primo slot 7050,va anche abilitato nel bios X4

is a Bug in this drive......If you use X570 chipset motherboard...it will not be seen by BIOS while cold booting..All sizes are affected...till now WD has no solution for that. But there will be no problem if you use in the 2nd M2 slot.But using it in slot 2 it will run in PCIe3....in practice they are same but I bought this to use Pcie4 and not3.Though amazon and seller are not resposible.

I bought two of these, both used in my Asus x570 Dark Hero motherboard. They appear to work as advertised without any blips or issues. I use them both with the built in heatsinks on the motherboard to help keep them cool. I have read they can get hot so I recommend cooling them this way if possible.

When I first used a nvme SSD, I remember thinking that it cant get faster than that. Well, I was obviously wrong. Everything is super snappy. You will notice the difference between PCIe 3.0 and 4.0.
