Yes, it was expensive but I feel Ill never need to purchase another umbrella--ever! My old umbrellas would not auto close which was a pain and last time when it rained and I was drenched, I decided to purchase a decent umbrella--this is it!

This umbrella is great quality, but if you have trigger finger, arthritis, or any sort of stiffness in your hands, it’s gonna be difficult to close it with TWO HANDS - let alone one.

Went for a birthday trip to New York, as we began walking to the MET it began to rain. I can’t begin to tell you how many people I walked passed with the umbrella flailing in the wind, bending and breaking. This umbrella is small but STRONG. I can’t imagine the trip without it. Would purchase again for double the price.

I truly love this umbrella. This umbrella looks/feels sturdy, well-constructed with solid parts, and beautiful with the chic sunset yellow (aka, mango) fabric that repels water well and drys quickly. Its auto-opening/closing is gentle and smooth unlike a lot other auto-opening ones that open forcefully with a loud noise. After auto-closing the shaft is easily pushed back in. I broke a manual umbrella a year and an auto-open one less than a year. I use an umbrella almost every day during my morning walk in the rainy NW. I felt terrible to toss so many umbrellas without repair service, which dumped in landfills. I hope this umbrella is the one I’ve been looking for. So far it is!

Nice, but doesn’t fully deploy. The overall quality of this does umbrella is superb but I only give it one star because when the chips are down and you need it and press that button for it to open, it does not fully deploy. You have to shake it to get it to deploy. You shouldn’t have to do that with $50 umbrella! We thought maybe we just got a lemon and tried a second one, but it did the same thing.

Prompt delivery, quality great!

The only problem I have had so far is that the ribs occasionally get tangled and opening the unbrella is a bit of work.

Very sturdy compact umbrella. Though its compacted is not lightweight.
