I spent years buying those cheap, flimsy $20 umbrellas from Walgreens and every time there was a storm it would break. I would buy a new umbrella every time it rained, so I ended up spending about $100/year on umbrellas.

Mechanism works well thus far. Have not had it long. A NYC gust will tell me more. Color selections are good, also.

I like it, because it is sturdy for all NYC weather and will last. Up to me not to lose it.

This is a great umbrella. Holds up to those random gusts without inverting. Worth it in my opinion.
