The item was what I expected.

Vertical heavy to use. Price I gave for this umbrella, Not worth it

Im updating my review to report that I am satisfied with their support once I went through Amazon site to contact them. Over the years, my wife and I had purchased four golf umbrellas from Weathermans website directly, and based on our positive experience, I purchased this umbrella for my son who walks at least a mile daily from his school to his younger brothers school to be picked up by my wife. Living in Seattle, he loved carrying his umbrella just in case of a heavier than usual rain, but recently had a couple of stretchers (had to look that up) break while shaking off rain from his umbrella. Since Weatherman offered a Lifetime warranty on their umbrella, I tried to contact Weatherman, but couldnt find a phone number. I contacted them through their website form, but I didnt even get an automated response saying that a case has been opened from my request, and now two weeks went by with no acknowledgment. I submitted another request, but again, no automatic acknowledgment in this day and age is really not acceptable to me. I realize parts break, things happen, but thought I was paying a premium for their service and Im disappointed.

My wife uses this for shade while jogging , so far so good . It has seen 40 mph wind with no problems.

I knew as soon as i saw the box & packaging that this was going to be a great product & it is. The best umbrella I have ever owned. So I bought two of them one for the office & one for home. Since I was so impressed with the first one & I will be buying the golf umbrella.

This is really heavy duty, and has nice coverage. The only disappointment with it is it does not have automatic close. Other than that, nice, sturdy umbrella at a fair price.

Though it was a tiny bit small and lighter, but its ok. The hefty actually gives it a very good feel.

The description of this umbrella is misleading, it talks about lightweight material which makes one think that it is a lightweight umbrella. I ordered the yellow/orange color as it is one of my favorite colors, but was shocked by its size and weight when I received it. So I have to return it as I am a petite person. While its quality is good, there are many other brands of high quality that are resistant to high winds and are also light and easy to carry around. The company is very slow in answering questions about returning. Company provides unpaid return labels through USPS: postage, insurance has to be paid by customer as well as taking time in line at post office. Company was very slow in responding to inquiries, one of my inq sent on the Amazon site was not answered at all. When post office attempted delivery there was no one to take delivery. Delivery took place on 8/31, the seller issued credit 2 days later on 9/2 after two more emails to company, Amazon finally advised of credit on 9/3. The worst of it: the company insisted four times that its description is accurate! Any one can see that this is simply not true. There were other people who rated this business a one-star. Never again!

A big pricey but worth every cent. Very well made and very sturdy.
