Greater than one weekWhen you pick it up for the first time, you can feel it’s not cheap. When it unfurls for the first time, you can see why. It’s construction is unlike any umbrella I’ve ever purchased. I’ve gone through a number of golf umbrellas - assuming those golf models were, by design, made to withstand strong wind and rain with sufficient capability to deliver you back to the Club house reasonably dry. I purchased this smaller model to test it before I dropped the extra coin for the golf size. I figured it would be a good model for the car; to get me the 50 yards into the office. But now, I think this smaller model is easily sturdy enough to get me from the 14th fairway back in. I highly recommend it.

Greater than one weekSince I received this umbrella, there has been no rain to truly test it out in, so this review is merely on its physical traits. First thing to mention about this umbrella (the collapsible) is that it is big (not compact/ultra portable) AND heavy.. you will definitely NOT be storing this in your pockets, but HOPEFULLY that translates to sturdy and trustworthy during a rainstorm and more importantly not flip inside out (fingers crossed)! I was a little nervous seeing others had issues with theirs not opening or having other defects (as mine shipped from Canada and the reviews did not appear favorable for their customer service), but so far mine doesnt appear to be affected.. of course the ultimate test during use is still to come. This is definitely not an umbrella you would throw in your bag for casual or daily carrying/casual use if needed.. their smallest umbrella (the travel) may be a better option for casual carrying (according to their website its over half a pound lighter, but still almost a foot tall). Another negative: this only has one button for automatic opening, it is a manual close. Perhaps the biggest negative of all? The price. Why would I spend so much on an umbrella? Lets just say my hopes and expectations are high! Some positives I can mention: the handle is semi curved in your hand, which should resist/counteract the forces of wind pushing you. It also comes in a nice selection of colors. And lastly, it has a vented canopy. Would I buy it again? Eh, Im on the fence with that one, 50/50. I wanted an umbrella mainly to leave in the car for downpours and for that reason I will be keeping it.

> 3 dayThe only reason that I am giving this for stars is because I am looking for an auto close umbrella. The construction is supreme oh, I was very impressed with the weight of the material and that is not too heavy nor to light. I am so sorry to return this umbrella and that because it does not Auto close and it was a little bigger in the closed position then I had hoped. The orange color is supreme for a person like me but my search has to continue. Thank you tell seller for good response time.

> 3 dayLove the mechanism to open and close. The fabric is beautiful and has reflective edges. It is a little heavier than many umbrellas, but the high quality is worth it. It has a protective cover with reflective edge as well. Have not tried it in high wind, but it is supposed to hold up.

> 3 dayThis is really heavy duty, and has nice coverage. The only disappointment with it is it does not have automatic close. Other than that, nice, sturdy umbrella at a fair price.

20-11-2024This is a very sturdy product - I must have misread the description and though it had the auto-close feature. 1st time it rained the umbrella was virtually dry when I got inside!
