Greater than one weekI have been using these brushes for awhile. They are great. An immense help if you are preparing thousands of fittings.

Greater than one weekBroke off on the first use. Looked like a good concept. Attached to light duty cordless drill, inserted into 1/2 copper, pulled trigger, snapped off instantly. Very disappointed.

> 3 dayI have been looking for something like this for a long time and wondering why no one took the time to invent it. This cleans inside and outside of copper pipe and fittings way faster than by hand and with a lot less fatirue by the end of the job. I connect it to my Dewalt 14volt impact driver. This seems to be the perfect drill to drive this tool. The drill can run very fast and clean the fitting in a couple of seconds. If you try to get too agressive then the clutch in the drill lets loose before ripping a 2 long piece of copper pipe out of your fingers. Every plumber should have a full set of these. If you get paid by the hour this tool could be a problem, you will need to compensate by taking more donut/coffee breaks.

> 3 daythe product is a good idea and time saver however its poorly made the 1/2 is working thus far as intended but the 3/4 didnt even last an hour before breaking the outside wont spin having broken on first use moment it was inserted to clean the pipe.

> 3 dayIll never clean 1/2 copper pipe the old way again. This does a great job. Note that the two parts can be separated. The brush that cleans the inside of a fitting can be put on the drill by itself. I prefer it that way. I have a perfect hex shank that allows me to use the other brush by itself too. I prefer that. But, their intent is to keep the two parts together and extend and retract the inner brush depending on which you need. That should work fine unless both brushes are accidentally grabbing at the same time.

> 3 dayDO NOT BUY!!! Absolute garbage of a product. I am a professional plumber and do water heater installs weekly; last week I tried these out in 3/4 and 1/2, both products broke on their first use. Not only are the materials used in this product flawed, its also flawed in its functional design. If you try to clean the outside of a copper pipe with the barrel extended forward and the inside brush in the rear,, there is no locking the device in this position, so as soon as you put the smallest amount of forward pressure, as in just to try to slide the barrel over the pipe, the barrel pushes forward again over the inner brush and you havent gotten anywhere. I also got the inner brush stuck inside a pipe fitting,,, such a TERRIBLE DESIGN, i cannot express how much I hate this product. Whoever designed this obviously never cleaned a piece of copper in his life.

> 3 dayThis tool works well to clean copper inside and out--all in one tool. Also, it helps reduce wear on your joints from repetitive stress. I havent used it long enough to discuss longevity, but its similar to other manual brushes we all use and replace periodically for best results. As far as instructions, there arent any. So to clean inside fittings, make sure the narrow brush is extended just as pictured on Amazon. To clean outside pipe (or street fittings), pull the narrow brush all the way through the drum brush inside the red plastic. This exposes the round, drum brush inside. You should NOT be running the brush inside the pipe (or street fitting) while attempting to clean the outside. This is wrong. You need to draw the brush into the red plastic part and through the drum brush entirely then clean the outside of a pipe or street fitting. Conclusively, you dont just leave the tool as pictured and merely clean inside and outside. You need to make an adjustment depending on inside or outside.
