Replaced my homemade arbor with this and like the ease of replacing worn out cutoff wheels. Works great.

The 10 wheels are all shipped loose with the shaft loose in that thin oversized cardboard box you see in the picture and no tape on the box at all to hold it together. So the shaft and the wheels beat each other up during all the handling. The wheels should have been taped or secured together and there should have been some padding around them inside the manufacturing box. Im talking about the manufacturing box, not the shipping box.

This is a high-quality steel mandrel for 1/4 drive 3/8 hole cut off wheels at a very good price! Never slipped in the die grinders arbor and gripped the cut off wheel perfectly! Cheap at half the price!!!

Wrks great fit perfectly

Worked absolutely great. I have a Harbor Freight pneumatic angle die grinder, but the only attachments I have for it are the twist lock sanding pads. I’ve been wanting some cutting wheels for a while and this package looked like a great option. Arbor holds nice and tight and the disks cut well.

Works well

The first one I received had a significant amount of runout at the head. So much that the edge of the cutoff wheel was bouncing up/down on the work and tearing up the edge of the wheel. The replacement is a lot better and does not bounce on the work, however there is still a small amount of vibration and runout. I gave 3 stars because the price is good and the second one is usable. I also contacted manufacturer but its been many weeks and they have never responded to my message. EDIT: I believe the runout is being caused by warpage during the manufacturers heat treating process after the part is machined.
