These are a terrific low cost way to convert goose water decoys into field decoys! The 1/8 rods will bend into a loop to hold the decoy & then add a 90-degree end to stick in the ground. The stainless steel composition prevents rust.

Good quality , no surprises

I bought small quantities of several of the most common types of TIG filler rods from WeldingCity. They arrived on time. BUT they come with no kind of airtight packaging to keep them fresh and prevent oxidizing over a period of time. Better have your own capped PVC pipes or other airtight packaging ready when they arrive. Also they could have punched thru the end of the cardboard shipping box while on the truck. Mine didnt because the seller stuck extra tape over the box ends. Some of the tiny .045 inch rods are not stamped with type at all. Those that are, are so tiny the stamps are incomplete and hard to read due to tiny .045 rod diameter. Again better have your packaging ready to keep them organized as soon as they arrive, before they get mixed up.

Not a welder. These were purchased to make a di-pole antenna for ham radio. They did the trick.
