Bigger, heavy, and a ton of fabric. I love mine! I use them for belly dancing and my gypsy costumes for the renaissance fair, and they are perfect!!!!

At first, I absolutely loved this skirt, and would have given it 5 stars. However, the first time I wore it, I found a medium sized hole (just big enough to fit two adult fingers through) between two layers. Id already washed and worn the skirt, so I couldnt return it. I was going to buy another one because I loved the skirt so much, but the price isnt worth that quality.

Definitely wash a few times before wear. The color will bleed. But overall a nice skirt for ren faire.

Its 100% cotton and well dyed. The skirt is so heavy and flowing I wish it has a slip inside.

Buyer beware. This is a poorly made product. I laundered according to instructions provided (Dry clean only) and the skirt immediately lost all vibrance. The fabric is dry-rotted and the tiers are separating. I received this as a gift, but would not choose to purchase this skirt. The quality is poor, the craftsmanship poor. I am disappointed because if the fabric were not dry-rotted I could at least repair it.

I didnt have much hope for this skirt when I ordered it but its a keeper! I had all kinds of fears, its going to be too long, too full, make me look like I have huge hips, but my fears were unfounded. Im only 410 and weigh 105 lbs with a 26 waist! You can see why I had fears. The waist fits fine, I just have to pull the drawstring really tight to keep the skirt from slipping down. As for the length, I only have to roll the waist once (because of the huge amount of fabric I was afraid it would bulge but it doesnt, it can easily be hidden with a shirt and still makes me look like I have a small waist) and the skirt brushes the top of my feet. I was afraid Id have to wear my five inch heels with it (I can if I unroll the waist) but, with the waist rolled, I can wear it with my flip flips too! So I can make it look dressy or I can make it look gypsy! Its perfect! Its nice and cool and comfortable! Havent had to wash it yet but I dont have many fears there, I dont have to wash my skirts very often. Ill get plenty of wear out of it before I have to wash it.
