This thing is AWESOME! Very portable which was the reason i got it. Use it when im camping to light up the camp and if i need to change a tire. Bright ad heck. And as long as its thicker metal the magnet is just fine.

Works good.. a lot of light for the money

I use the light on my garden tractor, it works fine. The light is quite bright and the base magnet is strong. The assembly was a bit awkward and the first item had to be returned since the grab handle broke off when I was installing it with the included hex wrench. All in all, a fine light, suitable as a task light for tractors or whatever has a 12v cig lighter port. Power cable length is adequate but I would have preferred a few more feet.

Only light I use when we spot light

I ordered this light and it arrived very quickly. I am using it as auxiliary lighting on my Honda Rancher ATV. It plugs right into the auxiliary 12 volt connector I installed on the ATV. The light is pretty bright and should work well . The magnetic base is quite powerful and holds the light well to the mounting plate that I fabricated for it. I also plan on using it as an occasional work light if needed and I will carry it along with me in my truck. I think a longer cord will be necessary in order to use it as a portable wok light so I order a 12 volt extension cord for it I order to reach any distance from the power outlet on the truck. Overall I think this light will work out very nice for my needs.

So far its working great

Nice and bright. Works great for what I needed it for. I just wish the cord was longer. But it is working for what i needed it for. I just have the cord stretched to the max. The cord is a decent size just not for what I am useing it for.
