When Calls the Heart Complete Season 7

Wonderful series

This season is still new, but I lack some excitement that was had from previous seasons.

Love this series and looking forward to new Season 8.

The characters, the clothing, the scenery, the storyline are all wonderful. I truly enjoy watching it.

When this show first started I appreciated the fact that God was mentioned in every episode. There arent a lot of shows like that unless you want to watch reality tv fundamentalists set womens lib back by 80 years or so. It was nice, they didnt push God on anyone, but faith was a foundation of the show, as was strong women. The show moved away from the faith component over time, which I was not happy about. I was equally upset that we did not get to see the original season filmed before the scandal or that they simply didnt recast Abigails part. However, this love triangle has been the final straw. And the last episode with the incredibly predictable romance novel ploy of near death, wasting illness or trauma drama to force a foolish choice was such a cheap out. Honestly, this show had so much potential in the beginning but one by one they dropped all of the things that made it a uniquely charming show and now its just an ongoing cliché.

What has happened to my favorite shows. We have so few family shows that show our faith. I wish I could live in this town but its changing. The clothing and makeup are too early for its time. Now, Elizabeth is being caught between 2 men? Why? This show has changed from a wonderful family show to being just like everything else on television which is common and slutty. I do not know if they have new writers but GO BACK TO THE INITIAL REASONS WHY THIS SHOW DID SO WELL because of her and Jack. Bring back JACK and Abigail. If this is a Christian show the word of GOD says we forgive. we have no right to judge her personal life and it should not be reflected in the show.

I have enjoyed every episode of this season. When calls the heart continues to inspire, encourage and educate that with the right attitude, so much can be endured and overcome. I am disappointed in the impatience, griping, grumbling and complaining of so many reviewers this season and truth be told, the last. I recognize there have been issues and that not every viewer will or can appreciate this show. Once and for all I hope people will contact Amazon for issues that pertain to them and respect Hallmark channel for the shows. We all have to rate the show and I could care less, myself, if it is a low or high, as far as the effect and outcome goes. To me, that is a silly thing to argue about. With that said, folks we are living in challenging times and I doubt it will soon be behind us. We need to let our challenges affirm our faith and know they will shape our character, which is what so much of this show is about. We dont need to lash out but reach out. These characters can be and are, an inspiration. While conflict is inevitable, hate, bitterness and resentment are a choice that never yields a good result. Back to the show, it is a blessing to be able to rewatch and be reminded how to love and be merciful and be honest and truthful and patient in all aspects of our lives. I sincerely hope and pray we will continue to support the writers, producers, directors and actors and actresses this season and the next, no matter what. This is a fun little escape.
