Whiteside Router Bits 1550 V-Groove 60-Degree 1/2-Inch Cutting Diameter and 7/16-Inch Point Length

This is a great product. It was received on time. I would buy this product again. The vendor was excellent.

Whiteside router bits are quality made that stand up to rigorous use. I bought this bit thinking it would work it create stems for a project I’m working on. The result wasn’t quite what I was looking for. With that being said I’ll keep this bit for future use on another project. I have no complaints about the quality of this bit.

I have made a few cuts with this but so far and it is working very well.

While this bit may work for you if you’re working with HDPE, for soft and hard wood, it just doesn’t fit the bill. Right from the start, I’ve suffered from tear out with this bit, no matter the spindle or traverse speeds or variety of wood. Apparently, if you want a dependable bit that works as it should, stick with amana.

Would be OK if they would have packaged all of the nuts having 5/16 threads like the bolts. However the T-handle nuts are 1/4- 20 on the set I received.

It is worth it when you pull your first cut off the bed. If you are here thinking of buying this, just do it.

A good tool thats come in handy on multiple projects. When putting in the tool dimentions into fusion 360 be sure to list the angle as 30 degrees because fusion measures it differently than the manufacturer.

Cut through Hickory as if it were butter.

so far the router bit has performed well carving wood with a CNC machine , will add more info after more use to see how the cutting edges wear
