Sharp, sturdy and does a perfect job

I needed a router bit that would match up with my template for a shallow beginning before I could use the bowl routing bits. The distance on the bowl bits was too great between the baring and the top of the cutter head, this bit was perfect for routing that gap.

This bit cuts very cleanly. Only needed light edge sanding after making the cut.

Check the screw that hold the retainer of the bearing every time before using it ,But still on the 2nd time I lost it in the middle of the project and messed up the red oak ,Not expecting an US made bit will be like those Chinese cheap ones

I’m building shed doors using half lap construction. I ordered this bit to hog out the joints... the 1/4 inch bit worked just fine, but I should have ordered a 1/2 inch shank rather than 1/4. No fault of the bit, I was trying to save money, and now it’s going to cost me twice as much, because I just ordered a 1/2 shank bit replacement. This bit is fantastic for small projects, but don’t try to overload it.

Quality American made bit. I own several Whiteside bits. Yes, they are more expensive than the cheap Chinese made bits that are everywhere. The difference is the accuracy and longevity.

Works great for templates for door hardware.

Using this bit to make dados in cabinets using a shop built jig. The cuts are clean and smooth.
