> 24 hourCheck the screw that hold the retainer of the bearing every time before using it ,But still on the 2nd time I lost it in the middle of the project and messed up the red oak ,Not expecting an US made bit will be like those Chinese cheap ones

> 24 hourI’m building shed doors using half lap construction. I ordered this bit to hog out the joints... the 1/4 inch bit worked just fine, but I should have ordered a 1/2 inch shank rather than 1/4. No fault of the bit, I was trying to save money, and now it’s going to cost me twice as much, because I just ordered a 1/2 shank bit replacement. This bit is fantastic for small projects, but don’t try to overload it.

> 24 hourI used this Whiteside Bit for mortising hinges on a cabinet I am building, using a guide template. The bit cuts very smooth mortise bottoms. The cut actually looks polished. Also the bit is exactly the same size as the guide bearing, which means there is little chisel work cleanup. just the corners. I like the accuracy.

> 24 hourFor the money, this is by far one of the best values for this type of router bit. Highly recommend it if you need this type of bit. Very sharp and has stayed sharp. You can tell when you look at it in person, it is a high quality bit, not like many of the cheaply manufactured bits you can get online.
