> 24 hourNot sure if it was user error but whenever I use this it would leave scratch marks on the template wood that I was running the ball bearing part over. So I would have to go back and sand and smooth those areas out. I never had this problem with the Freud trim bit.

> 24 hourJust like my other Whitesides, this one is excellent. Smooth cuts. Accurate diameter.

> 24 hourReading the reviews, this seemed like the perfect pattern cut bit for me - large cutting length, a small diameter bearing, and good reviews. It worked extremely well to be honest, until the bearing failed. It overheated, broke, or something along those lines, after roughly 3 hours of use. That shouldnt happen. I contacted customer service through their site and have received no answer after a month so far. Buyer, be informed!

> 24 hourThis 1/4 trim bit works great with a handheld small trim router(both fixed and plunge base routers).

> 24 hourI have a healthy distrust for flush trim bits. I used to veneer cabinets for aircraft interior remodeling and every now and then, a bearing would fail, or the bit would find some other way to mar the piece. No arrangement of profanity will buy back the time you lose when this happens. Bought this bit after seeing it used on a YT channel. Seemed expensive, but I was working with expensive materials, and a short turnaround. After a few panels, I was able to settle into a more confident state of mind. Turns out a little extra $$ is totally worth it. Besides, its a very satisfying experience to see the edge this bit creates. Now I cant wait to use it again. : )

> 24 hourUsed this for a speaker build that required veneer/panel edge flush cutting work. Very sharp even after trial cuts/all cuts and routes required for a set of Devore o/96 clones. Excellent bit and super price.

> 24 hourI am a huge Freud fan but thought that I would give Whiteside a try since I’ve heard a lot of good about them. This bit is second to none, hands down. It is quieter, smoother abs way faster than any straight fluted but I’ve ever used.

> 24 hourSo far I love the white side router bits. They are sharp and leave almost no tear out. So you have very little winding to do afterwards. Iv bought Four bits from them and I already want more.

> 24 hourI needed to make a bunch of chairs and made templates to flush trim the stock (0.75” and 1”). Instead of precut the pieces on a bandsaw I tried to shortcut the process by directly route the material at once. Long story short it doesn’t work that way since bit in contact with the waste side as well. At some point it messes up the template since scrap test piece was slightly warped:( Anyway, I ended up using the bandsaw and a regular 1/2” straight trim bit (right side of piece in 2nd picture). Also, the small diameter having the disadvantage that imperfections in the templates telemarking more than on a larger diameter bit. Bottom line for me is that I will use the smaller bit only when need in small curves, corners.

> 24 hourCant recommend high enough. Quality is leaps and bounds over the cheaper alternatives.
