Easy way to remove door hinge pin

These tools helped when moving recently. I found them to be quite versatile and have kept them in my bag when needed. They helped recently during a move that allowed me to quickly remove doors to allow for easier egress.

I bought mainly for the purpose of driving Brad nails into trim that didn’t recess far enough. It’s a little hard to keep the point of the tool on the head of the nail while pulling back on a spring that has pretty good tension to it. I ended up making more dents in the trim than I wanted but is likely user error and I just need to get better at the technique.

If you need to sink in some nails, these will do the trick, but you need to be careful that you dont move them while pulling back the top since its very easy to accidentally put some dents around the nail youre trying to sink. What I ended up finding these most useful for though is removing old/stuck door hinge pins, dont know how I ever removed a door without them!

As a painter, this hidden gem of a tool is a God send. Easy to set nails while prepping trim and moldings plus extremely easy to remove doors off hinges for professional painting. Its a must, youll thank me.

Not much to say The spring is good and strong. I wouldnt try to pull it 5 ft apart but its not a cheap spring. The rest of it just functions as it should and is very easy to use even with shaky hands

Thought it was a decent buy for $10 but the pen literally snapped in half while I was removing half of a nail and the nail is still embedded

Im a finish carpenter and use it everyday it does not hold up to that but diy work work great

Im greatly impressed by the products quality. Despite being an affordable tool, the set feels unexpectedly substantial. Its a super handy little tool.
