We have struggled with wifi signal for over a year in our home and finally decided to buy one of these range extenders and I wish I had bought one a year ago. Super easy to set up and our signal is full strength throughout our home.Does its job, but I lose about 50% of my speed regardless of location or configuration. Very easy to set up, but wouldnt buy again. Ill just invest in a better wireless router.

I got a repeater-and ran the speed test with its switch. Setup is fairly easy, following simpler instructions on the product description than in the box! It will take up to five minutes. Covering a corner of our house, they worked much better than the nets I had tried before. This product differs from other extension agents on the market in terms of quality customer service. Awesome, easy set up, instructions were detailed enough for this novice. Increased my poor coverage area from two bars to five bars. YAAAAASet up was less than 10 minutes

Im a tech capable person, but not an expert. Our router is on the second floor of the front of our house. There was a dead spot in the back corner of the first floor. Of course, this is where we have a tv with a FireStick. Even a new router we got still had trouble reaching the corner so wed randomly drop wifi or streaming would freeze. I got this extender because it got decent reviews, I know netgear, and the specs seemed to be what I needed. I was a bit nervous that the signal still wouldnt reach the dead spot.First the not perfect part. Setting up from an iphone was super easy, except that I lost the sign-in page a couple times for no apparent reason. Once I had to restart the process. The other time, I was done, but hadnt clicked the final finished or other closing button. Everything did work after a few minutes, however. Besides that hiccup, it couldnt have been easier to set up.The performance has been everything I could have hoped for. I did, however, only plug this in 12 hours ago. I placed the extender on the same floor as the router towards the back of the house about 35 feet away. In the dead spot, I measured 10/10 download/upload from the router (and I had lost the connection on the first try). On the extended network 5g I got 46/27 and on the 2g I got 24/28. For reference, I top out at 60/60 on the router. I have not tried streaming video yet.

This wifi extender does the job! I was hoping for a little more distance and ability to turn corners and go through walls, but its 90% what I was hoping. Has already paid for itself by reducing my data usage!

I have used this extender before in a very large, long stucco house to get my wifi signal from the front to the back. Worked like a charm even through the thick stucco walls. It will shoot your signal a good distance and give you a full 5 bars! I was able to internet game at the farthest reach of my house with this awesome gadget.Recently moved into a new house. Easy to place on any outlet. And really works as intended. If you need a wifi boost get this little puppy and youll be a happy camper.
