This plug is surely a solid product. Took me just two minutes to set it up with App and worked just great. The RGB lights really look cool at night. And thanks for the heads up email with Smart App details, didn’t even need to read the manual after that.

Very easy to set up, easy to use, the app is very handy. It does the job, can be controlled from your phone or set daily timers. I love it. I initially ordered one, works great... than i placed another order. I highly recommend it, everyone can set it up. And the price is great.

Had trouble syncing my product to Google Home until changing both to 2G network (rather than the 5G I usually connect to) and now it works fine. Bought three for my bedroom and they work beautifully. The ‘Gorgeous’ light option on the bulb is pretty and changes colors slowly or quickly (you pick the change speed) and adds a bit of color to the outlet itself. The light on the plug can be programmed like a nightlight too and turned on or off as a separately named light, great for if you want a nightlight for a room that has this smart plug.

Initially had problems setting it up, even following the instructions. After messing with it while I go to work. Light does not turn white!

Easy set up. Works well with my lamps. I love being able to access my lights from my phone. I would order these again. I will be getting them for my mom so easy to use.

(Updated 12/12/2020) Disregard my previous posting(s), please. DISLIKE: Too d**n big to allow 2 sockets to be installed in any 1-gang or 2-gang duplex receptacle. MINOR Confusion: The nightlight cannot be set to a color-temperature by any means that I have found. Asking Alexa to set the nightlight color to Daylight white, Warm white, Soft white, Cool white will yield a success chime, but no color change. Assigning one of the Alexa colors such as Lemon Chiffon or Ivory works OK. The SmartLife app shows a color wheel to adjust the nightlight, but one must adjust a slider called temperature to 0% to make the bulb white. This is a misnomer, and the slider is actually the saturation control. Lost in translation. Didnt figure that one out right away... Color temperature is not expressed in percent, anyway. INFO: Unit discovers as 3 separate devices: a Light called LED name by default (the nightlight), a Switch called switch name by default (the socket), and a virtual light with the users name assigned at discovery that addresses both the nightlight and the socket as one. Any command from Alexa for this device will be applied to both. BUG! BEWARE: The combined nightlight/socket function is reported/listed as device type light in Alexa and cannot be edited. Alexa will therefore include the socket/nightlight combo device in any utterance to all lights, which will affect the power to the socket. I.e.; If you happen to have a benchtop power strip hooked to the socket to power a laptop charger and some general purpose test equipment (oscope, DMM), your TE and charger will go dark when Alexa is told, All lights off. Found this out the hard way. :-/ WORKAROUND: Go to the device list in the Alexa app and Disable the combo light device. Leave the separate Light and Switch devices enabled. The nightlight will still respond in an all lights operation, the socket will not be affected.

Setting up the smart outlet was super easy with the SmartLife app on my phone. I got everything set up in a few minutes and now I am using it with a lamp in one of the rooms in my house that does not have overhead lights. I already had a google home so it is really easy to just tell Google to turn on the light in that room as I walk into it. The LED ring on the plug is doubling as a night light in that room which is great!

I really wanted to like these but the first one failed within two months by starting to randomly switch off and on. The second one failed at seven months by creating duplicate network entries no matter how many times I reset it, with the consequence of rendering it unusable with Alexa.
