Greater than one weekGot my cord today, my son and I got it all zip tied into place, hooked it up just to find the cord is faulty. I should have checked it before running it, but hind sight is 20/20. Have to take it down and reorder another cord. But I guess I will go with a different supplier.

> 3 dayThe camera system being used is a 1080p and 2mp quality. Needed to make a 150 foot run inside a building and found that connecting two cables together gave poor video quality so ordered two 150 foot cables (one spare). Connected the first one with the cable still coiled before running it to where it needed to go because of the difficulty in 18 foot floor to ceiling height. The video quality was noisy with lines running through it. Found out by wiggling the connector at the DVR it would come and go like the connector had loose wires in it. It is a molded connector so you cannot get access to it. The second cable seemed okay so made the difficult run the 150 feet using a ladder at the 18 foot height required. Connected everything up and guess what, the video had noise lines running through it. Found that by wiggling the camera end cable it would change the video from bad to better (but not good) and it would not stay in the slightly better condition once letting go of the connector. I tried a spare camera I had and it did not improve the video quality so it is something to do with the cables. I had similar Siamese cables run to some of my other cameras and they did not last more than a year and a half before the video was degraded. These are inside a building not outside. I would not recommend these cables. Next time I will buy a good quality coax or a POE system.
