My 8 yr old has been using this every day since school started and loves it. Its roomy enough for her folder, lunch box, water bottle and a a few other items.

Very sturdy. I would say it is not meant for an older child who has to bring books home. Fits my daughters folders and agenda perfectly but if she were to add more than just one textbook, it would be too small. Very cute in person. (I have an 8 year old who uses this)

I have bought this bag three times, in different colors. Its fits my spiral notebooks and iPad, plus has two phone-sized pockets, and an internal pocket that holds keys and money. No rips so far, even where the strap attaches to the body. Very happy!

This cute messenger bag was for my 10 year old niece for Christmas. She loved the color and of course the horses on the bag as well as the inside pockets to hold art supplies, etc. and it is roomy and sturdy enough for her tablet, a book, notepads, or whatever she might want to have with her on a road trip, overnight visit, or wherever she might want to use it.

We have not owned the messanger bag long enough to rate its durability, but appearance wise we are thrilled. The colors are vibrant, and the style of the bag is very cute. Its not terribly wide so dont expect to carry a large load of books. My daughter loves this bag and it is easy for her to carry.
