Willow Tree True Plaque, Sculpted Hand-Painted bas Relief

I gave this as a gift. Very sentimental gift.

I am, in part, writing this product review because I accidentally wrote seller feedback for this order that was feedback intended for a different item from a different seller, but Amazon does not allow such an error to be corrected -- one cannot delete incorrect seller feedback. I would like everyone to know that this was a simply beautiful item and that the seller, DD Gifts, was completely satisfactory in every way. I purchased this gift for a friend and she was utterly moved by its beauty. I highly recommend this Willow Tree item to anyone who wants a lovely, meaningful, gift -- either for a loved one or for themselves -- which will be something to cherish for years to come. I can envision this lovely item being handed down through the years and becoming a treasured possession to anyone fortunate enough to possess it. I highly recommend both the item and the seller! (I also really appreciate Amazon for their awesome customer service -- their representative really did try to help me resolve my feedback issue!)

Gift for my daughter. I would have purchased the box with same bas relief, but it was unavailable. Purchased a small easel for the plaque.

I purchased this plaque on sale as a Christmas gift for my wife. Instead of a new item, I received a used (opened) plaque. When I hung the plaque, I discovered that the hanging bracket was not centered , and so the plaque will not hang straight. The hanging bracket is embedded in the plaque casting, so it cannot be moved. Normally, I would take this in stride and exchange the item for a new one. Amazon wont let me do this. I can either get a refund of the original (sale) price, or I can apply the purchase price to some other item - not the same item. Of course, the plaque is no longer on sale, so if I want to replace it, I need to get a refund of the sale price, and then pay the difference to meet the current price, which is right now is even higher than it normally is. The plaque is defective, and I believe that it was previously returned because it was defective, and Amazon then sold me this used defective plaque as new.

Got this for my sister..she loved it.
