If you’re looking for a 30amp pigtail to hook your 30amp RV into your generator, this is it. Works just fine. The cord doesn’t get hot and seems to withstand the heat. It attaches to the generator just fine and does lock on real good. I think this is a great value considering what you would pay at a RV dealership.

How can they make such a high quality product for such a great price. It works great, has perfect fit and finish and is easy to attach and remove. I am thrilled with this product and will buy this brand again. Clearly I am happy with the manufacturer and the product.

A couple times a year, we rustic camp with our fifth wheel RV and use a inverter generator for power. The generator has a rigid twist lock adapter for my 30 amp RV cord but its clocked wrong so you have to drape the cord over top of the generator to keep it from disconnecting. This adapter alleviates that issue as the cord allows flexibility in the connection. This adapter comes packaged in a plain cardboard box with the cord packaged in a plastic zip bag inside. Along with the cord is some documentation describing the product and the plug configuration but has some inaccuracies. The description says it has LED power indicator but it does not. The cord has high quality ends with good contacts and a very thick, heavy cord. The product advertises pure copper wires and I have no reason to disbelieve that. As with most thick cord, it is very stiff but should soften up with use and/or heat. This is a high quality adapter at a very reasonable price and I give it 5 stars all day long.

Promise delivered. Good Quality. No surprises. The adapter may be waterproof but the connections aren’t so take care in wet conditions. The instruction sheet mentions a “power indicator” but I don’t see it. As the picture indicates, polarity is proper and my Honda 3000si has ground and neutral bonded as appropriate for portable plug-in gensets (those connected with wires need a transfer switch to handle this internal connection for code compliance). The ‘do-not-remove’ tag on the plug has more to it than the instruction sheet. Do read it and understand the hard-earned lessons described. Both the tag and the instruction sheet look to be rather generic for a product line so it is necessary to match what you read to this particular adapter.

This lets me run my camper off of my new generator should I need it. It is plenty heavy enough that it doesnt get hot during use.

This adapter from WININRV arrived quickly and was reasonably packaged. This dogbone is perfect for connecting my travel trailer to my portable generator. The WININRV will replace a short rigid adapter which awkwardly sticks out of my generator when in use. The one foot flexible cable seems far more stable than the short rigid adapter. Im looking forward to many years of service with the WININRV Adapter!

Got this to replace my solid L5-30P to TT-30R adapter. It works fine but there is no strain relief between male and female ends. This unit has one foot of cable to provide strain relief between the plug ends, which I like a lot better. See photo: old solid adapter on left, this product on right. The ad on the Amazon page has some confusing wording. * one of their bullet items says The lock has a threaded ring immediately attached to the head, which is adjustable and waterproof. See the picture; I think they must be referring to some notches in the top part of the male plug. I dont know what they are for, but I suppose someone might have a use for them. * Currently, the final picture they include refers to 15A L5-30P and 30A TT-30R, which implies that one end is 15 amps and the other end is 30 amps. This made me kind of nervous. Now that I have it, the product is definitely 30 amps on both ends. Ignore the picture. Bottom line: I havent had this out camping yet, but here in my hands it looks solid and well made. It does what I wanted. I like it.

If you are a RV person, you might want to add this to your electrical adapter collection. While traveling, you never know what type of power source you will run into. Having a collection of different adapter can be the difference of a nice comfortable night or not. These are well made and I expect many years of service. I also like the bright color cord. This allows me to find it even in low light. Very nice. Connections are tight and secure. All in all this is a great product that is well worth a full 5 stars!

Nice slim generator head. Great raised ridges for rotating and locking in place. Cord and heads are nice and sturdy and durable. Pictures showing 2 gloves positions that fit pull handles. Base below pull handle is also sturdy and can help pulling and prevent wire fatigue. Very Happy and recommended

Tough little plug that I had no problems plugging in, and I have weak fingers. Nice solid prongs that don’t bend up. Very thick rubber and great protection for wiring. High quality plug. No doubt in my mind that it will last a lifetime. Weathers storms with no trouble. Reasonably priced.
