Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour, 6.75-oz (200ml), Titanium White

I have been using these paints for about 8 years. I find them to be very green no harsh chemicals or bad fumes ever. I teach painting to senior citizens and always recommend this product because of the green elements Clean up is a breeze using water and soap . I also use water for my medium and it helps to dry quicker.

Typical Windsor & Newton excellence. Love this water base. The clean up and previous odor was never something I looked forward to but now with these water-based oils problem solved. Great product. About time.

I really like this paint. Honestly, I didnt at first. I like that it dries faster then my other oils like gamblin and Winsor professional oils. It isnt as pigmented as those BUT when u mix a tiny bit. I usually do 20 percent gamblin and 80 percent artisan oil, they get a really buttery consistency and pigment increases significantly. They still dry fast even when mixed with other oils. You can use safflower oil or linseed to thin out a bit. I use water sometimes but dont want it to lose much sheen. I like them because I dont need thinners and solvents when I work outside or other rooms.

I love this paint. Though Ive only ever used acrylic so I might not be the best judge on oil paints but these have been great so far. The wash off easily which is a huge convenience. I really hate the tube it comes in but thats probably because Im used to the flexible acrylic paint tubes.

I travel full time in an RV. These let me paint in oils without having to use harsh solvents too clean up
