If you buy these remember to get a white tube separate, it will help a lot. These are the first oil paints i have ever bought or used. Remember that you need to be very careful with oil paint and all of the supplies! You need a well ventilated room and a way to properly dispose of your waste, we dont want paint thinner and stand oil to end up in landfills!! Be careful, but enjoy yourself! Oil paint is such a fun medium :)

Everything was great about this set, but theres one color that I was looking forward to the most that they advertised on here that came with the set, but it doesnt come with the set is Sap Green was switched out for bright green to most people its not that big of a deal but I really needed that color for my landscape paintings. Overall it is a great price for what you get.

These are good paints for your oil paints. Ive used it for a couple of my paintings and they came out beautiful. It has more like a matte finish, but its still pretty.

Decent quality paint. It has a good feel and is easy to mix. If youre starting out, I recommend buying a second tube of titanium white; a single 21ml tube will not be enough.

I like that I got it at a good price. Amazing price on Amazon. The colors are rich, the texture is not too thick and it doesn’t clump as a result. I prefer a little thicker paint, but it’s a personal preference. It’s a good product, just not my favorite.

It seems that i was sent a set that was returned by another customer? The box it came it, was damaged, there was a long strip of tape all along the front of the box. The paint tubes inside were jumbled. See the photos i attached. Its not a deal breaker, however, given the HIGH price point, and Windsor & Newton brand, it was disappointing to receive what i had spent $50+ USD on, come to me like it had been thrown around. Thankfully, all of the paint tubes and bottle of Liquin™ were all intact. Windsor & Newton should package their oil paint sets the way Gamblin™ does. In a wooden box, which was completely intact, and perfect when i received the set. Beautiful. Had the set i received from Windsor & Newton not been jumbled/messy, my rating, and overall impression of their product would be higher. Do better Windsor & Newton. Do better.

I am still new to painting, but Windsor Newton paint is an above average quality paint. The colors are opaque, bright and creamy. They mix and blend well. The color selection is good for the beginner. The colors are traditional and will help the beginner build a good understanding of mixing. The colors are not appropriate for portraits, but I painted a mixture of abstract, landscape and still lifes with the paint. I bought other brushes, and I dont recall the included brushes. I was not taught to use liquin, and I had enough ideas that I was not into experimenting with it at the time. The tubes are large enough that you feel free to use the paint. I paint rather thick--sort of a mild impasto style. I now paint with 200 ml tubes. However, I still have some remnants of these tubes left. I must not use that much Burnt Sienna or Raw Umber. The sets titanium white was larger (I guess about 40 ml) than the other tubes which is very useful. I suggest a canvas pad, such as

The paints are nice but some of them were busted in the package. Disappointing
