Nothing special about brass blowout valve, it worked great, as I suspected it would.

Actually, this item is three pieces combined together rather than one piece. In thinking about that, I concluded the idea has great merit since if any component should fail it can be replaced fairly easily. That would not be so if it were one cast/machined piece. I thought it would be bigger than what came but am quite satisfied with it and how it works.

Works well for my application.

Completed winterizing RV without the hassle of putting antifreeze in water lines. Will not have to deal with cleaning antifreeze prior to next use and allows me to use RV during winter and immediately winterize. Put around 20lbs air pressure into the lines and opened all faucets to clear lines of most of the water preventing freeze damage. Highly recommended.

Liked the fact you can control the pressure with the shutoff, prior to connecting the compressor lines.
