I bought and set the camera and I didnt expect that it might work wireless and away from ordinary energy source. It is working with solar panel perfectly, which gives you a choice to install wherever section of your house you want. Thanks.

I bought one of these for the front yard because it seemed like a good price. I was wondering whether the solar panel was actually able to keep it charged. It turns out that yes, it does. Stays at nearly 100% all the time. I did fully charge the battery before installing, and it stays fully charged, even on cloudy days. The camera was extremely easy to setup and install. It comes with everything you need. I have mine installed on a tree in the front yard. I am very far away from my router, so sometimes the connection is weak, but it works great most of the time, day or night, in all weather including snow. The features I like most about it are: - Independent operation. Set it and forget it, Wi-fi and solar. - Night time video is Ok, but you can also turn on a powerful spotlight - Audio siren alarm can be enabled - Video flash alarm can be enabled - Motion sense alerts sent to my iPhone and Android phones and Apple watch - Picture is very clear, and you can pinch digital video zoom - Built-in slot for video recording - Cloud video recording - Library of saved pictures and videos, very easy to use Well, I liked it so much that I bought another one for the back yard!!!

This is an affordable choice, but not perfect. If someone is walking toward or even at an angle toward the camera the sensor won’t pick up the motion. Every person will need to be walking from side to side in front of the camera to have the sensor work and record the action. You will receive many notifications even when motion is set to low. This is my only complaint.

So many features. Easy install. App has a lot of setup and ways to use the camera. I like the definition of the picture. Clear even across the USA when on vacation. Sound is good too. Would recommend this purchase if you’re new to outdoor cameras.

Literally have nothing but good things to say about this camera. Works absolutely as intended and exceeds expectations! The 355 degree turning on it is incredible and allows you to secure any area with this camera. I actually ordered 2. Amazing product!

We have a pool in our backyard and wanted a way to keep an eye on things when not at home. This works perfectly, especially because of the solar panel to keep the battery charged. It works great, even on overcast days the battery indicator shows a full charge. Setting the alarms is easy, installation was easy, and video quality is what youd expect from a 2k wireless camera. The app is easy to use and helped make setup a breeze. I am super happy with this purchase and look forward to years of use!

I am keeping my original review below for complete transparency, but I do believe that after everything, this seller themselves deserves five stars. After leaving this review the seller reached out and wanted to fix everything, offering a replacement (the company selling this camera is not the manufacturer that i had so much trouble with before). The new camera just came in today and works perfectly, honestly it works better than the first. The picture quality is much better including the night vision. Id highly suggest this camera, but if you have any problems DO NOT use the app and complain to the manufacturer. The manufacturer does not care, but its very obvious that the seller does. I wish I had contacted them sooner instead of the manufacturer but it was past the return date so I assumed they wouldnt do anything. ORIGINAL: I ordered this in December and had it up for maybe a month, I installed the camera exactly as it said (upside down for maximum waterproof). After the first freeze the camera stopped working, when I took it down a week later water came pouring out of it. After it dried it wouldnt come on unless it was plugged into an outlet in the house. When taken outside and plugged into the solar panel it wouldnt do anything. Now ive been trying to talk to customer support but they have been giving me the run around. I sent them a whole video showing how it works inside but not outside and they told me it was because of the wifi signal. The wifi connectivity keeps the camera from turning on outside? that makes so much sense. Point is, if you are going to buy this camera, hope that you dont ever need help from the manufacturer because they are useless. The camera was great otherwise, the motion sensor is pretty sensitive and the night vision was kinda spotty.
