Greater than one weekI was hoping to use this to play steam games on my TV. The transmission distance was about 10 feet and it was horribly laggy. Often it would rotate my display vertically and I had to keep re-pairing until it would turn horizontal. I dont reccommend.

> 3 dayThis wireless adapter is super simple to get setup and start using, which is nice! You simply plug it into your TV, press the button on the device to select the mode you want, then connect to it from your screen casting device. The picture quality is good (as good as youd expect for 1080p wireless streaming), and the latency is decently low. Low enough that I was able to play some turn based streaming games, but not low enough for racing or fast action games. Not that this is made for gaming, but I figured many of the people looking at this device might be considering it for that use. The only issue for me with this device is price. There are other options for wireless streaming devices that support screen mirroring AND direct streaming from a variety of services, AND 4K resolution, at a similar or lower price. This device did everything it advertised, and it was simple and easy to setup. But there are simply better options out there that do more for less.

> 3 dayIm a healthcare practitioner using a wall-mounted monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse that are across the room from the mini computer I use to access our server. I didnt want an HDMI cable strung along the wall. This device works flawlessly and is virtually unseen, having a small plug into the monitor. In my other treatment room, outfitted previously with a different setup, I used the Topbuy Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver, also purchased on Amazon. It works flawlessly as well, however, its more expensive, juts out more from the monitor and computer, and requires you to push the button on the monitors receiver unit to make the initial connection. Thats no big deal, but this unit works just as well, connects immediately, and is two-thirds the price. Im actually glad I have two types, because I dont know if either would receive the others signal if they were identical and being used at the same time, but if youre just needing one, Id go with this one. Works immediately on startup, works well, has a smaller footprint, and is cheaper.

> 3 dayIt took a little while for my computer to seek it out and pop up as an option for display, but once it did, it failed to connect. The instructions state I need three pieces of hardware that are Intel. The requirements state Intel wireless router, Intel graphics, Intel processor, and Win 8.1 or above. The Win 8.1 is no issue however, the other three are an issue. If you dont have those three Intel requirements above, it wont work.

> 3 dayBought this for an iOS/MAC dominant household. For me it was very simple to set up with the instructions. Turns out the iOS/MAC devices readily see this on the network, by default. Looks to work well in that environment. Personally.....Im android only. Comparatively speaking, my phone never saw the device. Nor did I have the time to overcome the issue (maybe it was simple). But when you have one environment (iOS/MAC) recognizing the device immediately and another that doesnt ...... yeah, no, not 5*. Feel generous giving 4*.

> 3 dayWe got this casting device to use a non-Samsung phone to cast to our Samsung TV. Set up was easy and documentation was good. Casing image is high-quality. I have a Samsung phone and I prefer this to Smart Share since it makes the videos and images on my phone full screen. *If you have a Google device (Pixel for example) be aware that Googles devices are only compatible with Chromecast so this will not work with your phone.
