After tripping over my 20ft HDMI cable that I was running across my living room floor, I bought this transmitter and receiver hoping to save myself a bad fall. After dealing with this pair, Ive decided to risk the broken neck and stick with the HDMI cable. Each piece requires an HDMI port along with a separate power port (USB-C) but wont register a power supply that isnt plugged into the computer Ive got the transmitter plugged into. I tried every different combination of plugging in the USB into the computer, or the wall outlet, or putting the transmitter into the HDMI port, or using a converter and using the DisplayPort port, but nothing ever seemed to affect the outcome. I was spinning a roulette wheel to decide whether or not this thing would even work. The picture quality is loathsome. I recognize that-- when this thing actually works-- its got a lot to do, but even the slightest tasks you perform on your computer will make the picture freeze and (hopefully) reconnect a good 5 seconds later. Im not talking about video games, either - this waste of plastic could barely keep its head above water through the length of a YouTube video. I tried playing with the resolution and aspect ratio, hoping it would produce a better picture quality, but no. The whole screen looks like it was shoved through a 144p video quality filter and tried to recreate the 1080p quality blindfolded. So here I am, with a $130 product sitting in its box after failing to connect to anything for the 11th time. Id give this product 1 star, but those reviews seem to be reserved for people who encountered shipping problems. This product is expensive garbage and Id love to see about getting a refund.

I cannot give these 5 stars because I feel like the product pictures are deceiving. These transmitters do not operate unless they are also plugged into something by USB in order to provide them with power. None of the pictures show it being used with the additional wires that are required in order to make them operate which is frustrating, to me. This package does come with all of the wires, however, so it is not a deal breaker and does not change how well this product does actually function. I do feel it necessary to detract a star; however, because that can make it inoperable if you were trying to use it for something that you dont have the ability to add the power to. For instance, I was using it with my tv (which is about 8-9 years old, at this point) and it does not have any spots for a usb to plug in. To make it work, I had to plug the receiver power into my Xbox so I could have the energy to run the product. Aside from that, this product works great! It connects automatically and does not require any work from the user. Adjust the source of whatever you are connecting to and the computer and transmitters will do the rest for you. I found the image quality to be excellent. I was streaming a game and there was no lag, whatsoever (this was from about 4 meters between the transmitter and receiver). If you are looking to use this for presentations and things of that nature it is a no brainer, this would work amazingly. I have seen other items on Amazon that seem to be a decent amount cheaper than this, so I recommend doing some research. This is the only one I have used, so I cant provide a comparison, but this product does seem pretty expensive for what it is, that said, it works very well! If you have done your research and narrowed it down to this item, know that this is a quality product you are getting and you won t be disappointed when it comes to quality and effectiveness.

Works as promised and goes far beyond! Firstly, it has stopped then annoying buffering on my TV connection!! Secondly, it has eliminated the annoying wire clutter! Huge plus!! Thirdly, this is an easy - and much more stable- wireless connection to a wireless mesh system in my home. This is just a straight forward upgrade that eliminates the need to be tech savvy. Just plug in and enjoy!! Over the moon happy!! 5+ stars!

I bought these to broadcast from 1 TV to another and thought it would be as easy as plugging one stick in 1 tv and the other in the second tv. Well that proved not to be the case. I guess I am not as tech savvy as other posters but it is not that simple. For starters you need power to each usb stick and need to have access to the tv USB’s as well. To make a long story short, it was just to much of a hassle to use them that haven’t even used them yet and I bought these 5 months ago.

I was really looking forward to trying out the Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver kit, but unfortunately, I was left disappointed. While the setup was easy enough, the promise of streaming content from my laptop to my HDTV without any cables fell short. Despite the initial excitement of being able to stream content wirelessly, the kit kept randomly disconnecting, making it impossible to enjoy the content without interruption. This was really frustrating, especially since the video and audio quality was actually quite good when the connection was stable.

I was using this device to connect my PC to a projector. It worked the first few times with no issues. Eventually I kept having to do things like refresh the display adapter, extend display, duplicate display, etc., reset the connection on the transmitters themselves, etc. And in no particular order, in order for them to work. And then one day they just stopped working. The RX and TX are reading each other, but for some reason not executing. I am no expert on transmitters, but inso being tech savvy enough, I tried the following when I became desperate : 1. Hit RX button for 3 seconds, took a picture of the QR code on my phone. I noted that it is an EZCast receiver. 2. I downloaded EZCast onto windows. EZCast showed the exact SSID from the transmitter. *Note, as it is plug and play, these devices SHOULD NOT require a password. However, I typed the Pal where it says password anyway. This only resulted in a mismatch. 3. But then, just to ensure I have covered all bases: I checked my driver on my PC. I turned off windows firewall just to make sure it wasnt a firewall issue. Everything checked out. Now... Here is the final verdict : My PC detected the TX just fine. There were no issues there to begin with. My projector reads the RX just fine. Again, no issue to begin with. The TX and RX are detecting each other, but are NOT performing. NO display whatsoever. FAULTY product that didnt even last 30 days. Now it is passed 30 days and is too late to return it. For $180 bucks? Unbelievable, and nobody can tell me I dont know more of what Im doing than the average consumer to come to this conclusion. Buy AT YOUR OWN **RISK.**

The wireless transmitter and receiver was a great addition to my tech. I find that I need to use different video outlets to make my video and audio work and it appeared I was always needing an extra cord or two. As you might expect the cords get tangled and its sometimes a pain. The wireless transmitter allows you to easily point to the tech you want to use with the receiver. With easy to follow directions, I was able to set this up within minutes and get started. From right out of the box, I was able to use it for several different items including my computer, a monitor and even a tablet. The opportunity to make it transmit to the tech I needed was very helpful. After using it for my home office, I also had an assistant use it for a set up for a conference room so all participants could utilize and review our content. The set up also worked there without ease and she was able to figure it out quickly too. Its a very useful took at work, home office or even a traditional office setting.

Ive tested a few wireless HDMI transmitters and the common issue Ive run into is stable video streaming for anything past 720p. I was impressed with how stable the connection and how little latency I experienced during my testing. The transmitters themselves are built solidly, and are simple to set up and put to immediate use. Even without reading the instructions, you can quickly figure out which is the transmitter and which is the receiver, and get right to work. The image quality is fantastic and I saw very little artifacting or screen tearing. I imagine that these HDMI transmitters would be best in an office environment so that you can set up for a presentation without running cables everywhere, but at home it can be used as a way to remove some cable clutter in your home theater. I mentioned that the latency was rather low, but if youre planning on using these for gaming, I hate to tell you that it will make your game almost unplayable. Easy to set up and use, and with a strong and stable connection. These are a winner!

Fully functional out of the box. One set covers a 50ft difference and the other set covers 70ft. Both are seperated by walls and a ceiling. After one month, no problems.

Wireless HDMI extender can be widely used in your life and business.

  • Its advantage is that it connects devices wirelessly, plug and play, no need to install applications and avoid wiring clutter.
  • Because the wireless HDMI extender is no longer limited by the range of the wire. In various occasions, the work efficiency can be improved very well during the use process, and the volume is small and does not take up space, and it is also very convenient to carry. Very suitable for commercial use/restaurant/bar/home entertainment/business/conference/education/training/live broadcast/learning, etc.
