> 3 dayI periodically do trainings and I like to be away from the huge monitor mounted on the wall, and sometimes even talk from the back of the room. I don’t like running long cables or being tethered to the monitor, especially if it’s an event type venue and you have a trip hazard and have to put gaff tape on everything. A secondary application is at home. Often I have my computer running in my home office but after a long day, I want to relocate to another part of my home that is more comfortable. I can very easily take my wireless mouse and keyboard and simply go to another room where I have a monitor set up. And occasionally, I will have all my video and streaming stuff hooked up to one TV and want to finish a movie or something in the kitchen or even on the patio. This is an easy way to make that happen. I wouldn’t call myself a power user and I am not pushing this thing to its spec limits for the signal. I’m not doing 4k or gaming. The listing notes that this is good for about 98 feet which is less distance than some comparable devices out there on the market. I am never in a place where I would need that kind of range. Rarely am I going more than about 50 feet away from transmitter to receiver and the signal easily worked from one room to another through walls in the same building. I didn’t sense any interference between these and other electronics and I didn’t notice any lag in the signal as I got further away or with all the other electronics used in the area. Your experience may differ from mine and you may experience some lag or stutter if you are trying to push more data through them, have content with heavy resolution, or have obstacles between the pair. For my purposes, they functioned well. The pair were easy to set up and were unobtrusive once in place. I wish there was a better option to power them but I don’t think other devices in this price class have it solved any better. The build quality was nice and compared to other options, I feel like these are quite small. Neither unit got hot during use. If they keep the price to about $120, I think it would be a solid purchase. More than that I’d explore other options.

> 3 dayIve tested a few wireless HDMI transmitters and the common issue Ive run into is stable video streaming for anything past 720p. I was impressed with how stable the connection and how little latency I experienced during my testing. The transmitters themselves are built solidly, and are simple to set up and put to immediate use. Even without reading the instructions, you can quickly figure out which is the transmitter and which is the receiver, and get right to work. The image quality is fantastic and I saw very little artifacting or screen tearing. I imagine that these HDMI transmitters would be best in an office environment so that you can set up for a presentation without running cables everywhere, but at home it can be used as a way to remove some cable clutter in your home theater. I mentioned that the latency was rather low, but if youre planning on using these for gaming, I hate to tell you that it will make your game almost unplayable. Easy to set up and use, and with a strong and stable connection. These are a winner!

> 3 dayI was really looking forward to trying out the Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver kit, but unfortunately, I was left disappointed. While the setup was easy enough, the promise of streaming content from my laptop to my HDTV without any cables fell short. Despite the initial excitement of being able to stream content wirelessly, the kit kept randomly disconnecting, making it impossible to enjoy the content without interruption. This was really frustrating, especially since the video and audio quality was actually quite good when the connection was stable.

> 3 dayI was pleasantly surprised at how well this product works. We tested it at a distance of about 40-50 through 1 or 2 walls and the quality at 1080p was great. In an open space, I think the rated distance should be easily achievable.

> 3 dayUsed on a PS3. There is no ostensible rhyme or reason as to what titles will or will not be able to transmit sounds. When it works, its a wonderful shortcut to keep everything looking clean and sharp with no cables, but I only found a handful of titles that I could get audio to function. Ended up returning the devices.

Greater than one weekI am an Amazon Vine reviewer, and I did receive this product for free for an HONEST review. I am reviewing the Wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver sold by the OSDKRU store. I chose this item because there is a game that I enjoy playing on my laptop that I wanted to be able to play on my TV screen. I absolutely love that this is truly a plug and play device. The only wire that is needed it the USB-C cord to power the receiver. The kit comes with a receiver, transmitter, two USB-C cables and a HDMI extender cable in case one doesn’t have room for the receiving to plug into the back of the T.V. The receiver must be plugged in to a power source. I happen to have a power strip/surge protector with build in USB ports near my T.V, so I just plugged the USB-C into that. The kit doesn’t come with the wall adapter, so one would have to use their own, which, most of us probably have dozens of them laying around from years of replacing cell phones and the like. The power cables are about 40 and the HDMI extender is about 20. Once I plugged the receiver into the back of my T.V and changed the input to the correct HDMI channel, I plugged the transmitter into the HDMI port on my laptop and that was all it took. My laptop was projecting to the T.V. No fuss, no muss. I didn’t have to adjust any settings, install any apps, or have 20 feet of wire coursing through my living room!!! Little things make me very happy. I also watched some movies on Prime with this transmitter to test it out and didn’t have any issues with the device not working, nor did I notice any lag or delay in the picture or sound. I really like that this device isn’t wifi dependent, so it could be used to transmit anywhere. I haven’t tried using it with anything other than my laptop, as I haven’t had a need yet, but the description states you can use it with any device with an HDMI output or with an HDMI adapter for devices without an HDMI port. I don’t have anything negative to say about this item. If something changes, I will update my review. At $179.99, this is definitely a luxury item for most folks, folks like me. In my household, this would be a special birthday or big holiday gift worth saving up for. I think this is a great item. I would definitely recommend this to people who can save up for it and enjoy tech toys. It could be used with a projector to put your games or movies on a large empty wall for a truly “big screen” display. Hubby is already planning a “drive in” movie night when the weather warms up. I hope this review helped and happy shopping!

> 3 dayI wanted an HDMI TX/RX to move my TV across the room from the cable outlet without digging into the walls or floor. When I tried to use it at only 6 feet separation for a test, it setup very easily but the latency degraded the signal so badly it was very hard on the eyes. I would not recommend this product.

Greater than one weekGets a bit warm by the transmitter, but works just as advertised and almost no latency.
