> 24 hourThe first thing I noticed about this umbrella is its very heavy, even though its compact. When I opened it up, I could see why. Each spine of the umbrella is reinforced with a second metal piece so it wont break when its windy. Every seam is reinforced, including the top of the umbrella. It came with a matching bag. It is a really pretty pastel shade of pink. The underside of the umbrella is black. I think this is a good value for such a sturdy umbrella.

> 24 hourOk so I didn’t think there’d be much to review on an umbrella but there’s a few things I want to point out about this one. The button feature is pretty cool, it definitely helps in opening and closing the umbrella to be an easier process. I also like how the under side of the umbrella is black. But there’s a few issues I have with this umbrella. 1. It smells TERRIBLE, upon arrival, the entire umbrella has a very fishy smell to it. To the point where I don’t even want to keep this in my car because it made my entire car smell bad. The smell is so strong that even my 4 and 5 year old kids pointed it out. 2. The color doesn’t look how it does in pictures. In person, it’s a lot more of a purple ish pink than what I was expecting. 3. Pushing the pole down is a lot harder than it should be. You have to really put some strength into pushing it back down which is a little frustrating. All of these issues alone are definitely not enough to point out, but with all 3 of these things, I just wanted to make others aware of them before purchasing.

> 24 hourIf you need just a basic umbrella, this will get the job done. Easy to open by pushing the button, but it was a little hard to close. It worked fine in the rain. Comes with a little sleeve for storage.

> 24 hourThis is a nice automatic umbrella. It opens easily with a touch of a button, although it needed a little coaxing the first time due to the interior lining. Unlike some other brands of this type of umbrella, you have to manually close it without the button press partially closing it for you. The opened size is a little smaller than some others I have, but it is big enough for an averaged size person to keep dry.

> 24 hourThis umbrella weighs so little, its positively delightful. The little strap is just big enough for me to wear it on my wrist. The velcro strap to close it works great. Did a fine job keeping the rain off of me this morning, its easy to open and close, and it dried quickly. I very much appreciate the black coating on the interior because I use my umbrellas as parasols even more than I do to keep the rain off. But mostly its just very light weight and therefore easy to hold.

> 24 hourI love this umbrella because it is small and lightweight. I keep it in my car and under my seat. Its small enough to be out of the way, but there when I need it.

> 24 hourGreat light weight umbrella. Can fit easily in a purse or in a pocket of a car seat. The color is beautiful and seems very sturdy.

> 24 hourThis umbrella has a button that is dual purpose - it opens it up completely or, from an open position, collapses the umbrella part and then you push down on the top to retract the handle into the fully closed position. It has a quality feel and strength to the support designed to hold up to windy days. Very happy with this order!

> 24 hourI just tried this umbrella for the first time while walking my dogs the night before hurricane or tropical storm Nicole makes landfall in Florida. We are currently experiencing 25-30 mph winds in all directions. While trying an umbrella during a hurricane is normally absurd, I decided to try the windproof feature that the umbrella manufacturer claims. Now, the umbrella is a very attractive, lightweight and portable umbrella. During the night before the storm, it did invert on me a few times but I am happily pleased to report that the umbrella simply returned back to normal very easily (by facing the umbrella in the direction of the wind) and the fact that the umbrella did hold up to the abuse, meaning, it did not fall apart or break. I do feel the trunk of the umbrella is a little better made and sturdy than the normal cheap portable umbrellas, I did not give this 5 stars due to the fact that I do own other umbrellas that hold up to winds just as good and probably half the price. I do feel that this is a well made and high quality umbrella though.
