This is a great bag to pack for an overnight trip or weekend away. I was able to fit a couple outfits, pjs, toiletry bag, large hair dryer, curling iron, one pair of shoes, and some other smaller items and still had a little room to spare.

I purchased this to be my carry-on for a long weekend trip, so I loaded it up to capacity and it carried everything I needed, including change of shoes and winter items. This thing holds a LOT. The compartment at the bottom gives it extra capacity for shoes, laundry, or other stuff. The straps are surprisingly sturdy, although I did use the smaller shoulder straps more as it got heavier since the crossbody felt like it was straining, and it can be fitted conveniently on top of another roller suitcase if you have one. The one downside is that the fabric is not water resistant. I would say it’s perfect for traveling but probably too big for day to day use.
