I bought this for my fiancé as she was travelling to Indianapolis. When we were packing her stuffs, we were surprised that the bag could fit a lot of things with all those side pockets it has. The bags quality was good, and light weighted. Indeed, it was a good travel bag. But we didnt pack any suits so cant say anything about it.

I love the concept of this bag. It’s a great 3-5 day travel option. The quilted material is nice and smooth. The stitching is good. The inside of the bag is roomy as you can see from photo Depending on how much space you want to take up in the interior floor of the bag, the shoe compartment is large enough for at least 2 decent size pair of men shoes and or 3 pair of ladies shoes. One great thing about the shoe compartment is that it is lined and separated from the interior of the bag so as to keep your garments from getting dirty. There are a number of pros for this bag. They are listed below along with a few concerns: PROS: 1. Great size and material 2. Depth of bag is enough to pack for 3-5 day trip 3. Several inside compartments to store toiletries etc… 4. Shoe compartment is genius 5. Padded outside end pocket great for small tablet or cellphone 6. Back outside zipper pocket deep enough and wide enough to hold something essential 7. Two front outside zipper pockets with hidden placard at least half the depth of the bag - another great storage option 8. Garment loop hole larger enough for different size hanger 9. Length of bag is good enough to hang a man’s suit or a lady’s full length dress. 10. Nice padded shoulder strap provided. Now for the Concerns: 1. Outside Zippers are sturdy but a bit hard to zip. Reminds me of those pillow covers that are so hard to get started. However after repeated use it seems the zippers are getting a bit easier to handle. 2. There are two zippers on each end of the bag - see photo. However they do not zip all the way around but rather meet at the top of the bag with a little clip closure which leaves a gap at the top sides of each end of the bag - see photo.. It would have been better if the end zipped all around and the clip was somehow positioned at the top of the bag on each end for better closure. 3. Top handle on bag looks cheap and feels cheap. For such a great bag, the manufacturer should make a better handle. Also it feels slight sticky to the touch. 4. Bag has no wheels. Just a preference.

Concept nice but the źippers are cheap therefore causing the issue of the duffel bag to remain in garment bag format.

I occasionally have to travel with a suit or two which necessitates a garment bag. Unfortunately, a garment bag is pretty useless for anything *except* carrying a few hanging items of clothing. I was excited about this idea--a duffel bag that can can change into a garment bag in much the same way that a Transformer can change into a truck. Theres nothing fundamentally wrong with the material used for this item. It feels substantial and high quality and would likely keep the contents dry. Im also sure that it would keep the contents wrinkle free. Thats the good news. Now the bad news. The conversion process from duffel bag to garment bag and back again isnt nearly as smooth as it should be. This is made even worse by some seriously sketchy zippers. My wife was trying to get it changed over first, but she had a ton of trouble with the zippers. I figured Id be able to take care of the situation but when I tried it I also had trouble with the zippers. All I could think about was being in an airport terminal trying to configure this bag only to have the zippers stick or break. One of our favorite luggage items is a cheap laundry bag that we bought at a national big box chain. Its a laundry bag, but it closes tightly and has handles on it. It packs in your suitcase like any other laundry bag. You can put dirty clothes in it while youre traveling and when youre ready to go home you can check it separately. Its simple, but it is such a great travel hack. It makes things much easier. If youve picked up some new clothes or other items, youll have room in your suitcase for them with the dirty clothes safely inside the laundry bag turned duffel bag. This bag doesnt have the same functional simplicity. We eventually decided that wed be better off just getting an upgraded garment bag and if we needed a duffel bag for some reason wed just get one at our destination. The idea definitely has promise, but it needs some refinement before its ready for prime time.

The bag has a lot of room. It has multiple pockets for items. The shoe compartment is small. The one thing is the zipper comes all the way loose, so when you open your bag you can not open it all the way and that is because it allows for you to put your clothes on hangers and ready to hang in your room.

So i did trial run to see how packing clothes, shoes, toiletries etc in this bag would go. And yes it is definitely, most certainly a must buy. Im just now getting into traveling and one thing i see everyone complain or mention is the price of carryon and check in or not wanting to bring too many bags. I am so glad for this. I was able to pack all the outfits that I needed along with 3 different pairs of shoes, toiletries and make up in this bag with no room to spare. Absolutely love it.

I got this bag for my wife to use on a four day trip to a family wedding. She wound up being unable to fit everything she wanted in it, so I used it. (I honestly find the design of the bag to be fairly neutral, but ymmv.) This bag has some clever features, but also some frustrating quirks. Photos are from immediately following our return. Size wise, I found the bag to fit well in overhead bins (we flew in both large 737s and a smaller regional jets). That means however that interior space in the bag is very limited. I was able to fit my 3 piece suit (including tie and braces), shoes, one pair of jeans, t-shirts, sleep wear, underclothes and toiletries for three days. This absolutely maxed out the bag, making it fairly difficult to zip closed. Use every trick and technique to save space: Pack your socks in your shoes, use compressive packing cubes, tightly roll everything that can be. Once the garment compartment has something in it and shoes are in their spot, the space left is smaller than it appears since the bag tapers to the top zipper. The zippered pockets on the inside sides of the bag are only useful for things that are flat and flexible. The outside pockets are not the easiest to access when the bag is stuffed, and also only accommodate flat or small items. Also, use a durable hangar for your suit or other garments. Because the hook is so close to the top zipper, when fully packed the bag is going to want to flex right there and puts a fair amount of pressure on it. You can see the bump in the center of the bag from the hangar hook in my first picture. One bit I did find particularly clever is the key clip on the end pocket: It makes it easy to securely stash key rings without a bulky carabiner. One thing I found annoying however, is that while the end zippers clip together, the top zipper has no similar clasp or clip to keep the bag closed. It would continually start to unzip, until I discovered I could clip the shoulder strap attachment through it (second to last picture). Another criticism is the handle: They get quite uncomfortable when there is any decent weight in it. I didnt weigh it, but Id guess I had approximately 20-25 lbs worth of clothes and personal effects packed for my trip. The narrow-ish handles made it uncomfortable to carry for very long. They are also sewn rather sloppily. I dont think theyre in danger of falling apart, but they appear to be fraying (last photo). The shoulder strap is okay: The pad is nice and reasonably wide, but the strap itself gets twisted easily, causing pressure points. It appears to be made of soft cotton webbing with no reinforcement. For a traveling bag, it really should be made from a more sturdy material like seat belt strapping. Overall, once you get past the learning curve of packing this bag it does a pretty good job. My suit came through the trip with minimal wrinkles and nothing broke.

There are several things I like about this bag but when it came to packing for a trip out of the country I realized this bag is not the best for airline travel if you physically dont want to deal with the weight. This bag is heavy before you put anything in it. It does have a place to slide it over the handle of another rolling suitcase but eventually you will have to lug it. I have a bad back and recent foot injury so an evenly distributed back pack was a better choice for all that airport walking. Now the good stuff. This would be the first bag I grab for an overnight or weekend car trip. It keeps everything so organized and it holds a lot. With clothes cushioning the whole girth of the bag I was able to leave my big laptop bag home. The side zips clip so they dont unzip. The top zipper is like a jacket zipper so the bag comes open completely. The strap has a good cushion on it and is adjustable. It holds a lot. Again, the only downside is how heavy it is. Would be great for a dude or young person.

Its a perfect weekender. The only thing Id change is have it come with its own hangar and maybe wheels. Otherwise, I love the design and it feels very sturdy, like it will last forever.
