Womens Cotton Grand Weekender Travel Bag

This bag is a decent size for a weekend bag. Its a bit larger than some of my other Vera Bradley weekend bags. The bag has mesh pockets on the front and back sides of the main compartment. The front pockets are deep and can hold smaller items. The side of the bag have slip pockets. The bag is machine washable so you can fully clean it with relative ease. The quality of the bag is excellent and the Butterfly pattern is pretty. The bag can be carried with the attached straps or using the adjustable/ removable shoulder strap.

This bag is perfect for an overnighter or as a carry on for the plane. I just love it!

As a mom of three kids, this bag is a must have for hauling everything my kids need on the go. The bag is oversized, features multiple compartments inside and outside the bag for organization, and the material is thick so you don’t have to worry about the bag breaking. I’m easily able to fit everything my kids could possible need within this bag, as well as have room for anything I might need. If you’re one of those mom’s likes to be prepared for whatever your kids might throw at you, this bag is for you. I keep my bag stocked with snacks, changes of clothes, diapers, swim clothes, sun screen/repellents, first aid, and overnight toiletries in case of an emergency. I also keep unopened matchbox cars and coloring supplies hidden in this bag as well to use as distractions during appointments or lunch dates. No more cursing myself because I didn’t grab something from the other bag or additional stops while running errands because I forgot something. Love this, would highly recommend it!

This one has a very big and rectangular open middle. Its PERFECT for using packing cubes with it! I can organize everything and its easy to unpack when we get to our hotel. Has the little loop to slip over your rolling suitcase handle. The side pockets are great for shoes!

I purchased an iconic weekend travel bag a year ago and love it. My daughter borrowed it and loved it too and asked for one for Christmas. Since she has a family, I bought the grand weekender bag for her for this Christmas. What was meant to be a beautiful gift, has turned into a gift that I’m embarrassed to give. The quality is so lacking compared to my bag, that I don’t know where to start. It is so light-weight that I doubt it will last very long, especially with the lack of the hard bottom piece for support. It is too narrow to pack stacks of clothes, and with no bottom support, they will just be a wrinkled mess coming out. Mesh pockets instead of fabric for small items to get hung up on is just the icing on this awful purchase. Vera Bradley should be embarrassed to offer this product at any price point, but the price tag it has makes it even more ridiculous. Are all the weekend bags like this now or can I purchase one that isn’t? What do I do with this awful gift?

When filled with clothes, its pretty heavy. The next size smaller might have been a better choice for me as I tend to over-pack.
