Woods 990824 CORD SET, 12/3 2 STW ORANGE 3 OUTLET, 2-Foot, 2 Foot

Needed to hook a window AC to a power controller and the ground fault interruption plug on the AC made it impossible. Added this two foot cord to make it work. I wanted a H.D. one since low voltage will burn out a AC unit, no worrys with this. Well made, you see quality when you look at it.

I have been needing one of the gizmos for several years but have always jury rigged one out of a three-way adapter. While the adapter route works, this is a much better option, especially when using the power cord outside in a moist environment. It is appropriately flexible, tests well for continuity and seems sturdy enough for heavy use. Thanks/AU //(~_~)\

OK, not a power strip but 12 gauge three outlets is just what I wanted. So far worked all winter in snow and rain.

Perfect for our outdoor holiday decorations!

One of the holes on the outlet are a little bigger than the others so the plugs seem to fall out.

Just what I was looking for

I bought this same item a while back and recently when I ran my small portable table saw, the outlet I used on this cord got so hot it melted the plastic housing. The saw draws 10 amps (1250 Watts) so was entirely within spec for the cord. Assuming this was a one-time glitch, I bought another one and so far, so good. If I get a few more hours of use out of this one with no issues, Ill upgrade this review.

Cant go wrong getting this extension cord. We are using it in the Winter with our Christmas lights. Great purchase.
