Workman SWR Meter for CB Radio Antennas SWR2T

> 3 daySometimes it will not register full deflection upon setup. Maybe goes 70% toward set (far right on meter). Also, the distance between the CB radio and the meter changes the setup deflection. So even when setup appears to work properly, I cannot be sure SWR is correct. Sometimes the initial calibration to set only goes 3/4 the way to the far right of the meter even w/knob turned full clockwise. Normal? Joe answered: Nope, not normal. Get a replacement.

> 3 dayGreat quality SWR meter. Its tough and durable and I was able to use it to easily tune my Firestik antenna and Uniden CB radio to an SWR of 1.2 on channels 1 and 40 and 1.0 on channel 19. Would highly recommend this for anyone who has a CB radio and needs to tune their antenna (basically everyone with a CB!)

> 3 dayAfter buying several CBs and antennas, (one set for a base station for our house, and several sets for both cars), we decided to get more communication distance by tuning the antennas. This meter is smaller than thought ( pic of meter in wifes hand) but it tuned the antennas well. (Money wise, I found out later we could’ve bought this meter for $6 less on a small business website). Make sure you buy a cable also (to hook to your CB— a 3’ one reached the CB radios in our cars from the meter set on the seat ). You can watch a couple of videos online to instruct yourself on using the meter, just google “tuning your CB with a SWR meter.”

> 3 dayworked good for my needs, and it showed the same readings as a digital meter.

> 3 dayUnit works ok but one of the coax connection on the back is too small to thread on to. I used some shim metal to take up the slop in the threads. For the price it will do.

> 3 dayIts hard to say you love something when all it does is a simple job and nothing else. It seems to be well made, and it is simple to operate.

Greater than one weekworks well, no need to spend big bucks on such a simple item. relative power measurement for checking SWR
