> 3 dayThese are some superb performing cables, for both Instrument/Studio use, and equally great for Audiophiles. I use various lengths from 1 foot to 12 foot in my home music room with 4 turntables, individual preamps and a pair of vacuum tube mono block amps. Ive been spinning vinyl for nearly 50 years, and I can tell you interconnect cables do make a difference. Having said that, theres NO Need to spend $500 on a pair of Wiz-Bang patch cables under any circumstances. These Worlds Best Cables are made to Industrial and Professional standards, and will satisfy those using them in a recording studio, as well as the Home Audiophile. I use these exclusively from the turntable to the preamp with no loss in signal, and no interference. Dont waste your money with Monster cables, the Worlds Best Cables perform better, and dont cost anymore. A recommended professional grade audio cable.

> 3 dayDirectional cables are hotly debated within the audio community. I find it doesnt really matter as I can not hear what the ions are doing within the WBC cable. So far, the sound quality remains unchanged when connected opposing to the WBC guideline for directional flow of ions. I find them to be decent interconnects for 2 channel stereo operation. I therefore can recommend these cables in spite of the hotly contested potential Voodoo concerning ionic directional flow characteristics of cables. As my EE friend says: Your ears has the final judgement of the sound.

> 3 dayUsing these between my Pro-ject turntable and preamp. Cables seem like they are good quality and came well packaged. I like that they are more flexible than the AudioQuest ones they are replacing. I got these specifically because I wanted a shorter cable then the 3ft one I was using. I did not expect to hear a difference to be honest, but I definitely did. The small pops in the records seemed cleaned up. Sound overall was lass harsh in the highs, with a warmer mid-range. Unfortunately the sound overall is also a bit muddier than with the AudioQuest cables. Strangely the soundstage does not seem as wide either. I know that these cables need to burn in for a bit, so hopefully they will open up like a fine wine after some time. I will update later, but will have replaced my pre-amp as well by then, so will not be an apples to apples comparison. I actually think these may be better with the new pre-amp, which tends to focus on the highs, so this might tame those a bit. Fingers crossed. UPDATE: Got the new preamp and A/B tested these against the old Audio Quest cables. Sorry, but I think these new ones are garbage, and I think they probably still will be after break-in. One of the albums I love to use to test is Amy Winehouses Frank (a far superior album to Back to Black IMHO). With these cables it sounds like Amy has marbles in her mouth. The mids are forward and very muddy, and the highs are buried, which explains why the small pops/crackles were hidden. It was impossible to understand some of the lyrics in the album, and its an album that I know really well. Anyway, I guess these will be going back. Perhaps I got a bed set of cables. Disappointing, as I use Canare SDI cables almost exclusively in our film studio and have loved their quality. These, sadly, fall well short.

Greater than one weekI have a mid-fi audio rig and am enjoying this product greatly. I have broken-in the cables as prescribed for 100 plus hours. Initially, the interconnects sounded glassy or wet. This characteristic of the sound began to change gradually through time to express more and more harmonics. Sound stage became quite detailed and crisp. I had bought two pair for use between my DAC and integrated amp, and between the integrated and matching power amp. (am bi-amping my towers). I listen every day and am really happy with this purchase. A great value and improvement for the cost.

17-11-2024Used with a DAC and headphone amplifier. Sound quality has improved with this cable. More depth and detail plus bass is deeper and fuller. Cant wait for it to break in.

> 3 daySure I could just buy a generic RCA for cheap and get similar sound. But I bought this Canare L-4E6S interconnect for my 2nd headphone setup which I use for critical listening and thats where cable quality matters. I have bought other interconnects from this seller and this Canare L-4E6S is just as good as their Mogami 2964 variant although the latter doesnt need burn-in period. I had bad experiences with their Gotham GAC-4/1 variants but that was taken care of. I highly recommend this Canare L-4E6S interconnect for headphone and (pro) audio systems where sound accuracy is important.
