> 3 dayI ordered this as a gift for my three-year-old niece. It was an absolute hit... for about three days. She had a wonderful time playing with the panther fingerling, rocking it as she put Allec to sleep, pressing the toy to her cheek to give kisses, and turning it upside down to hear it giggle. Once I showed her how to use it, she had fun learning all of the tricks and it really is cute. The baby that came with it was like a little mini-me, even though I had a bit of a struggle to get it to attach to the adult panthers tale like it showed on the packaging. Its a nice toy, though once you learn all of the tricks, it loses a little appeal. Perhaps for an older child -- where she can put it on a backpack or a pencil or something and play with it that way.

> 3 dayThe toy is a brand new Christmas gift and does not work properly. It has some kind of glitch that is causing it to get stuck making the same noise or movement on a loop. Imagine a record that is skipping. This is what this toy does. It will get stuck doing something like quickly blinking its eyes nonstop for minutes until you turn it off. Or just twitching its head. Or it will make a sort glitchy noise that endlessly repeats until you turn it off. It is totally disturbing. Our daughter is very upset that her new Christmas toy is behaving this way. When I reached out to customer service via the companys website describing the problem (and requesting a replacement), they sent me back an email that did not respond to ANY of the problems I mentioned. Instead, they said that if the toy was slow to replace the batteries. When I replied with another email describing the problem in more detail (and mentioning the batteries were new) they sent me an email describing how to properly install batteries!!! This is the worst and most useless customer service Ive ever experienced! WowWee apparently has no regard for actually solving a problem with their products and instead just sends meaningless and frustrating emails. The customer service person emailing me is named Andrey F... and I have a distinct feeling that I know what the F stands for (and it is not Fingerlings)!

> 3 dayWhats not to like about fingerlings. They are cure little creatures that sit on your finger. That was word for word what my 11 yo daughter said when I asked her to describe what she liked about this newer version of fingerlings. I could potentially get her to focus more but I think the opening quote sums it up pretty good.

> 3 dayMy kids have entered the fingerling craze!! They are actually even saving up weekly chore allowance to buy them as i told them I would not buy them all that they want. My kids love that they now light up, that is a huge deal to them and of coarse that they fart. Kids just love that for some reason. And the babies are a bit of a pain, they dont do anything but look cute, but that is enough for my girls, but since they are so small they misplace them more often and then a fit starts until they can find them again.

Greater than one weekI stumbled across these little creatures while looking for animal finger puppets with which to amuse my then 15 month old daughter. The first one, a baby giraffe, had many of the same features as this tiger, sans the cub. My daughter is fascinated by the noises and movements. It is too complicated for her to play with herself but she points to it and asks for me to play with it. The squeaking and little movements, including eyelashes batting and eyes opening and closing are captivating to my daughter. The only negative about this fingerling is that, for some reason, the opening for your finger is smaller than on the giraffe, so I am unable to manipulate it as well. Still, these are cute little things that will captivate a small child. Recommended.

> 3 dayMy kids wanted to get a pet, but I’m not ready for that kind of commitment yet. My kids enjoy playing with this interactive lion figure set. They say it’s like having a real pet to take care of and play with. This WowWee Fingerlings set comes with 2 adorable lions, Sam and Leo. Sam is the larger lion figure. He is animated, and responds to motion and touch. He blinks his eyes, turns his head, and purrs. His tuft of hair lights up, according to his “mood”. He is able to detect your cheek to give you a “kiss”. Petting him, rocking him, holding him upside down, and kissing him, will elicit different reactions from Sam. You can also rock him to sleep. It’s really cute how he hangs onto your finger, and interacts with you. Sam comes with a mini cub named Leo. Leo is much smaller than Sam. He’s a tiny plastic figure that is not interactive, but he’s very cute and can hang onto Sam’s tail.
