> 3 dayAs advertised..... most crafty people (myself included) fail to change their knife blade as often as they need. I now have no excuses.

> 3 dayI have a spot in my new x-acto kit for the little box of replacement blades. I ordered the Pack of 40. The picture is a box. What I got was 8 pegboard packs of 5 each. Storing this is going to be a large pain. If I wanted 8 packets, I would have looked for those. The description and box picture were deceptive.

> 3 dayThey dont snap, but they dull fast when cutting Scotch tape. They also rust really easy, The paper container is the big concern, the cardboard box makes opening and closing the box an issue blades can spill out easily. 40 blades means opening and closing 40 times. I cut myself picking up blades that kept falling from the box. They are very sharp from the box, very, but the cutting edge does not hold very long.

12-06-2025Depending on the project, Exacto blades can last pretty long, or go dull quickly. Often, most of the blade is still sharp, but the tip area has dulled to the point where cutting cleanly is difficult or impossible.

> 3 dayMade in China. Packaging is poor - blades are wrapped in paper, then plastic, and finally in a tiny carboard box. For comparison, blades for retractable utility knives (e.g., Dewalt) which you get at home improvement centers always come in solid plastic containers, they are just as sharp, larger in size, and yet cost about the same, per blade, as blades in this tiny package in cardboard. I guess, with some extra care to not drop them, one can still use the they way how they are packaged, but it does not make an impression of a brand name item. Harbor Freight, the cheapest tool supplier on the market, does a better job presenting its merchandise. Feels like low end China.

> 3 dayI bought these because it seemed like a good idea; why spend the same amount for only 5 blades from the grocery store? Maybe they’re cheaper for a reason? Yeah, they are.

> 3 dayThese blades are the best, but one time while working for a Phila. News paper in the art dept. I was changing blades and dropped the knife into my thigh, boy did that hurt. The boss thought it was a joke until he saw the red spreading on my white jeans and gave me off the rest of the night shift. It was worth it.
