Saves space having it up vertically but hey it’s not like Microsoft’s rival, Sony’s PS4 can be set horizontally or vertical on any surface for NO EXTRA CHARGE! BUY IT!

This works. You have to have it if you want a vertical STABLE Xbox One (s) -- It keeps the Xbox One S in a STABLE environment without taking up hardly any room and installs (slides on) in about half a second. Just get this one, the official one and be done with it. I havent tried the aftermarket versions but with these type of things the actual ones made by the manufacturer (and thus engineers) of the product typically work the best.

If you dont have room for your xbox to lay flat it might work but I would not put a new xbox on this stand without it being around a couple of items to make sure it is secure. We donated ours.

Works the way its suppose to. Snaps into place, makes the Xbox sturdy on its side.
