ID 2.125 x OD 3.376 Trailer Hub Wheel Grease Seals Every spring and fall we make a 5,500 mile trip from Lower Alabama to Montana and back (with side trips through our favorite scenic areas. Before each trip I remove my hubs, inspect the bearings, lube and replace the seals. I have used three sets of these seals thus far and have had no complaints. They are a double seal with spring seat. They also apply a type of sealant on the outside (metal to metal contact area) which seems to work well. I always apply a little wheel grease to the rubber part of the seal. That keeps it from having a dry rubber to metal contact when the wheel starts rolling. Ive been doing this for 49 years and zero failures. For the money, this is a good deal. I would recommend these seals...just make sure YOU are ordering the correct size! Good luck!

Seal # 2233TB. I bought these for my 2.250 boat spindle. Their drawing shows the ID as being the same on both lips. This is incorrect. They are NOT the same. Looking at the outer face of the seal, the first wiper lip is approx. 2.31 (2-5/16) and doesnt even make contact with my spindle. The second inner lip measures approx. 2.188 (2-3/16) and fits nice and snug against my spindle as it should. So if you used these on a 2-1/4 spindle, you are only getting a 1-lip seal - not two! They are keeping your grease in, but the first wiper seal isnt doing anything for you. Thats the whole reason for having a double lip - one to keep debris out and the other to do the sealing! Other than that - I place no other faults with these. They look good and arrived quickly. Unfortunately they wont work for me so Im returning them. Moral of the story: ALWAYS measure your seals before installing them! Update: I added a star since the refund was quick and easy. I never like to give bad reviews, but I felt I had to since these seals arent exactly simple to install and they can cause severe damage to your bearings if they leak, Not to mention the time it takes to get them. Maybe I just got a bad batch? Who knows. Hopefully the supplier can check their stock.

Fit was perfect As with most grease seals, tap them in slowly using a mallet and block. Hitting too hard will dislodge the circular spring that keeps rubber seal tight.

Worked perfectly for my trailer. Do yourself a favor and buy a new set every time you re-pack your bearings. Id buy again if necessary.
