Well I’m not using for climbing - no time with kids...... but cannot tell difference compared to those on my climbing rack from college days. Used for ninja line and hammock hanging in backyard. And just generally around the house. For the price paid it far far far exceeds what is available at home depot. For reference ninja line peeled open a 3/8 stainless steel eye hook when I stood on it (line under tension plus my dynamic weight) - no prob with this carabiner same load.

I bought these to clip my keys/sunglasses to my belt loop/backpack. Theyre way overkill for that purpose, but thats just the kind of person I am- buy once, cry once. These are very sturdy in the hand, the latch operates smoothly, and the screw-lock is very easy to manipulate one-handed. Only complaint I have is I keep snapping my fingers in the latch, but thats not the biners fault. PLUS THESE THINGS LOOK DANG COOL!

These are very light & alot more durable than I expected & I actually use these in many situations where hanging or latching to pull things whether it be yard work or just around the house.
