This product was a replacement for a previous screen which was deemed faulty upon installation. Once I installed the new LCD it worked perfectly, but in about two weeks it began not to work as it should. Pressing the Home Button on the iPad mini would activate certain buttons along with certain areas of the screen being unresponsive. I would have asked for another replacement, but in this case I doubt the third time would have been a charm. I would not recommend buying this product as it may or may not work in perfect condition.

When it was professionally installed, there is a square shape that is present, like it was imprinted on the screen. I just decided to keep it because I didnt want the headache of trying to return or get a refund. So just be careful.

This product is well made and fits perfectly in the bezel. The brightness is good. While the removal of the old screen takes quite a bit of work, once you remove the old screen, this replacement could not be easier. You will be delighted with this.

This is not the absolute best product however the quality is very comparable to the original. Unless youve repaired a lot of these you would not be able to tell its aftermarket. Great product!

First unit I received didnt have a screen protector on it and they actually stamped something directly on the LCD. It was also very badly scratched and wouldnt power back on after it went to sleep so I exchanged it for another unit. Second unit at least works and came with with a sticky plastic screen protector, however it has vertical lines on the the LCD. Its a time consuming repair to do it right and the thought of doing it a third time isnt ideal, so its just going to have to be good enough. Lesson learned is pay a few extra bucks and get a higher quality replacement.

So I had to find a youtube video for a similar product to install this. overall it was fairly easy, but, it never ended up working. I tried uninstalling it several times, made sure all connections were right. Nothing.
