Everyone needs a quality umbrella. As I live in South Florida, when it does rain, at times, it really rains! When this happens, I need to be sure that I have an umbrella that will keep me dry, and will not get blown inside out, as a few of my previous umbrellas have done. There seems to be a lot of thought, and technology, put into this XIXVON umbrella. To start, naturally, it is waterproof. It folds in reverse, has an ergonomic handle, a reflective safety strip, and UV protection. One button automatically opens and closes it. This umbrella consists of a lightweight metal that wont rust. It has 10 reinforced ribs, which are supposed to make it windproof. I dont know about that claim, and hope I never find out that its not true. So far, though I havent been in any strong winds, the umbrella has worked as advertised. Hopefully, this will continue to be the case. Its kind of stylish, as well.

I like the design and construction of the XIXVON umbrella. The reverse (or inverted) folding and reflective safety strip on its rim are thoughtful considerations. After walking to the car in a rain with this umbrella, while sliding on to your car seat, the reverse folding is helpful not to drip water inside the car and you may place the folded umbrella on the passenger seat or backseat without wetting. I understand it has UPF 50 and watery coating to prevent harmful UV rays or rainwater seeping on to the person under the umbrella. The metal frame with ten fiberglass ribs add strength and stability to withstand wind gusts. The one button opening and closing feature is nice. The space under the umbrella is large to accommodate two adults. The umbrella is lightweight (about 1 lb). Because of its large canopy and reverse folding the folded umbrella looks somewhat bulky. If you need a folding, travel umbrella this is a good choice.

There is a lot to like about this umbrella, but I also find it to not always be the most convenient option. The umbrella ribs are robust and certainly hold up impressively within a heavy downpour or windy day and the umbrella is deployed rapidly and easily. If using this for sun protection only, it is a little simpler to put away. On a rainy gusty day, while this umbrella is stronger and more robust it also takes a lot more effort to put away. You almost need to find cover briefly, spin off the excess water, close the primary part, but then the harder part comes compressing the umbrella back down. If you can get into a lobby or indoors first, then it is a bit less awkward and difficult (whereas trying to do this rapidly outside before entering a turnstile for instance isnt simple or quick IMO.) While the umbrella is a comfortable size and offers a pleasant level of protection from the elements, I dont find it to be larger than other umbrellas I own considered just for one person. Personally, I would find it uncomfortably awkward to try to shelter a 2nd adult with me under this on a rainy day (though I only intend to use this for personal use.) Overall, the umbrella is crafted with high-end materials, and built well to endure the elements.

This is an automatic open and close umbrella. What is really handy is that it is a reverse folding umbrella, the folds go up rather than down so when you get into your car you don’t get rained on from your umbrella.

Nifty umbrella , never seen one designed like this. But it works. Easy to pop out and push back in

I live in the sunshine state, so a white exterior with light-blocking interior is really nice. I like the reverse fold to keep the water inside the umbrella, Ill just need to remember to open it up and let it dry out once I get home. The reflective strip on the edge is cool and a smart addition to the design. Mechanism works well and it popped right open first try. Second try it was bent the wrong way, but it popped back into proper shape really easily. The metal framework, fabric, and stitching all look of good quality and Im anticipating using this for years. Its nice and compact and a cool touch that they included 2 sleeves for the umbrella.

The Umbrella itself is a great umbrella - The material is nice and I have used it in a few Florida storms and it is sturdy and stands up to heavy rain and wind. It is very easy to open and comes with a case that zips around it so storage in a purse or in your car is also relatively easy. Closing it however is another story - I found it very hard and difficult to close - and the price tag is rather high for nothing terribly remarkable.
