> 3 dayCONSTRUCTION/QUALITY: + The bag is sewn together surprisingly well. + There are no pulled seams or loose threads. + They used a thick thread to stitch this together. + The zippers are thick and not the cheap thin ones. + The mesh on the back to allow breathability is a nice touch. + They have a built-in USB-A male to USB-A female cable. FUNCTIONALITY: + When filled to capacity, it holds the weight effortlessly. + This really holds a ton of stuff. + The zippers run smoothly. + The velcro inside is very sticky. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: + I like this more than I thought I would. It has out performed my expectations. + The red looks really good with the few silver and black accents. - I think Im going to have to get rid of the USB-A cable and put in a USB-C one. Other than that, this is great! ~~~RATING SYSTEM~~~ LEGEND + | These are positive comments about the product. - | These are negative comments about the product. = | These are neutral comments about the product. U | Updated information based on continued usage. ----- Diamonds STAR RATING SYSTEM (What do my star ratings mean?): 1 STAR - Completely unusable, would request a refund 2 STAR - Meets minimum viable product requirements, wouldnt purchase it again 3 STAR - It does what it should, but in a non-spectacular way, I may recommend it, but definitely with reservations 4 STAR - I like it. It is solid quality and delivers as advertised, I would purchase it again and recommend it to a friend 5 STAR - I love it. It meets or exceeds all of my expectations and is high quality, I would purchase it again and would openly promote it to friends

Greater than one weekI have a larger than average 17 inch gaming laptop. I have always had problems finding a bag that fits these laptops and have been using a bag that cost me over $100 simply because it would fit. This bag is a fantastic replacement at a fraction of the cost! First let me list the bad, since there isnt much. The two things that could use improvement are both padding issues. While the straps are padded, they arent padded very thickly. This bag carries a LOT and can get heavy so extra padding on the straps would help. There is also no padding at the bottom of the bag to protect the laptop should you accidentally drop the bag. Its only happened to me once so not a deal breaker for this bag. Now for the good stuff. This bag EASILY holds my laptop with plenty of extra room left over. In fact, there is a TON of storage inside the bag. There are four zippered main compartments. The rear is for laptops but can also fit other stuff. The main compartment is just a wide open space with 2 mesh pockets. There is also a cable that will allow you to keep a power bank inside (there is a pocket to keep the charger tucked nicely against the side of the inner bag). The cable is connected to a USB port on the outside of the bag so its nice and neat and you dont have to carry the battery in your pocket. The next compartment contains a key ring, an RFID blocking set of pockets for credit cards as well as a zippered mesh pockets. The last compartment is up front and is a small space with two pockets. In addition, there are two pockets on either side that hold water bottles and a strap to hold them in place should you be using larger ones. The front has a carabiner so you can clip something there (my daughter loves to clip plush toys on hers). On the back of the bag there is a hidden zippered pocket that would be able to fit a tablet. I plan on using it to keep my passport, extra cash and other important stuff so that it is out of the reach of possible pickpockets. A nice touch. If you are travelling, the bag allows you to unzip the laptop pocket and open the backpack so that it is laying completely flat. This will allow TSA to check your laptop without having to remove it from the bag. It does take up a LOT of space when you do that so be aware. Overall, I really love the backpack. I could only rate it a 4 or 5 but I think its actually a 4.5 star product. It holds everything I need (and has room for plenty more!), feels well made and is a fraction of the cost of my previous bag. I think this is a great buy, especially if you like to travel with only a single bag.

> 3 dayThis is a very masculine and sophisticated-looking backpack. Its size is 18 x 12 x 8 inches. The main compartment fits up to a 15.6-inch Laptop. There is a total of 3 compartments in this backpack so you will not run out of space for your things. The backpack is made of waterproof durable Polyester. The backpack has reinforced stitching, so it is constructed well. It appears very durable and strong enough to hold a lot. Great backpack at a great price. Highly recommend it!

> 3 daySo this is what you need to know if youre considering this midsize backpack. Its not too thin like the cheap dollar store backpacks. This one feels sturdy and robust, which is a pretty much obligatory with a pack of this size. It has one large main compartment, a forward compartment that has a good amount of organizational pouches, and a rear compartment for a laptop and tablet. The inside feels good, smooth, and not of thin material, I like it. On to the negatives: This bag has a hanging hook on the front outside pouch, but it is made of plastic and I dont think it will hold up if the pack is heavy. It looks flimsy and like itll deform or break if youve got something like textbooks in the main bag. Also, the shoulder straps are literally paper thin and offer no cushioning whatsoever. They arent really comfortable, especially if the bag is heavy. These are the only two drawbacks Ive encountered so far, and they can be eliminated with the addition of strap padding and a better, metal hook. Of course, this requires more money, increasing the total cost to use this one to its best and fullest. I recommend this backpack if the above two issues dont matter to you. For a little bit more you can buy a Swiss gear or Samsonite backpack thatll last you a long time and comes with all the bells and whistles (I have both kinds, so i know). Ill be dailying this backpack to see its longevity and just how robust it really is. Ill update when something happens. Not half bad so far.

Greater than one weekI was shocked at how well made this backpack is when I initially expected it to have lower quality materials. The actual outer material is surprisingly resilient and the zippers are dense and heavy and work great. The bag has adequate padding on the back and on the shoulder straps. The bag has two side pockets for bottles (or whatever else you might want to put there) as well as 3 main pockets (two of which have additional internal pockets). In one of the pockets you will find a USB cable that can attach to a portable battery bank which you can then use to charge your phone or tablet by using the USB charging port on the outside of the bag. In another of the pockets you can also store cards, like badges, credit cards, etc (dont know who would do this to be honest) but it does have RFID protection if you use them. The back, larger pocket has a couple pocket sleeves for more items, one of which is the primary sleeve to put your laptop or tablet in and it even has a velcro strap to secure it into place so it would move around in the bag as easily. Overall, I am happy with this bag, and I think it will be more than suitable for most people. I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayMy backpack shoulder strap tore off and so I ordered this backpack as a replacement. The backpack arrived folded in half in a plastic bag. Once unpacked, I went through all of the pockets and compartments. The backpack is very nice, and its function is perfect for my needs. The backpack also feels very sturdy and the stitching is very nicely done as well. Overall a very good backpack and will be a nice change from the one I have been using.

Greater than one weekThis is a decent sized backpack for travel use. The exterior is a textured nylon which appears to be relatively durable, while the inside is lined with the kind of plastic youd see in a soft-sided cooler. The straps are thinly padded, but are wide enough to be comfortable and not dig into your shoulders. The zippers might be the weak link: theyre lightweight plastic with metal pulls, but have worked so far. The back of the bag has a mesh liner (for breathability while wearing), and a convenient strap to hold the backpack onto the handle of a roller bag while walking through the airport or station. Theres a sturdy handle on top, along with a narrow hanging loop. Theres no sternum or waist strap, which is fine because this really isnt a bag made for hiking. There is a mesh bottle pocket on either side; they are large enough to hold my 24-oz cycling bottles, but cant handle a 1-liter Nalgene hiking bottle. I wish there were straps above the pockets to hold a taller item, such as a foldable umbrella. The bag has some tiny reflective accents on both sides, but I wouldnt pretend that they would provide much safety while walking on the road on a dark night. The large main compartment has a padded laptop sleeve with a Velcro strap (holds a MacBookPro with a lot of room to spare), and a half-sleeve where you could slide in a thin book or magazine. The middle compartment is also good-sized, and has a pocket on one side to hold a battery bank (not included) and a USB-A cable leading to an exterior port. A slot on the side would allow you to thread a headphone cable through. The front compartment can easily hold a sweater or two, and also has one pocket that is passport sized, one that an iPhone11 fits into, and two pencil sleeves; theres also a RFID pocket in case you think you need to protect your credit cards. Sewn into the top is a split ring that could secure a set of keys (would be more convenient if it was a clip, like the one that is inexplicably attached to the outside front of the bag). Overall this backpack fits my needs for travel - its roomy enough to carry the essentials and fits under an airline seat. My one wish would be that it had a small zippered compartment on the front where you could quickly stash your wallet, keys, and phone before going through airport security.

18-11-2024I got this to replace another pack that the zippers were starting to fail after about eight years of use. This one is quite a bit larger than I had expected. In all honesty, I didn’t pay attention to the dimensions before ordering. It fits my 15.5 inch screened laptop with ease. There is also an additional pouch for my tablet. That is a nice addition, as I had to pack them in the same pouch in my old pack. Construction seems solid and I didn’t find any loose threads around the sewing seams. If you felt inclined to store cards in it, there are lined pockets that claim RFID protection. Side cinch straps to tighten the pack down are also a nice feature. The one thing I feel that could be updated is the included charging port. It is a standard USB-A to USB-A. With most devices and battery backup’s going to a USB-C connection, it would be nice to at least have an adapter included. I can’t speak to it’s longevity yet, but I hope it at least last half as long as my previous pack.
