Beautiful for macrame projects! I used this for my first macrame project (pictured). It was a bigger piece and I used a little over 1 whole roll. Good quality for the price!

This 4mm is the perfect size for larger macrame projects like plant hangers and wall art. It’s nice 100% natural cotton with three twisted strands. I really like that it comes with really great easy to follow diagrams and instructions and not just two basic knots, it also shows more complex knots like the monkeys fist and the Turks head in a simplistic easy to follow format. This string is too thick for small items like belts and purses but for larger projects it’s really nice, the cotton is soft. It comes on a nice big roll 145 yards. This is a nice product, I would recommend it. Great for summer kids projects!

Decided to learn macrame for the summer. The string arrived before the book I ordered but...the string has a little booklet with beginner knots! Bonus! So, Im working on those now and will order the same brand for different colors once Im on a new project!
