> 3 dayI didnt use the stock keycaps nor switches. The hotswap method is great and made swapping switches great. The angle of the board is a bit flat so prepare for that. The stabilizers (plate mounted) are below average and the space bar was rattly despite holee modding. This was fixed once I swapped them out however.

> 3 dayIts a great keyboard for beginners like myself. I say that because I don’t know much about switches and feel they give off. But since this a hotswappble keyboard you can interchange switches especially since it supports 5 and 3 pin switches (I had to look up if there was a difference). So once you find a switch you like you can keep it in the keyboard! The rgb is a little confusing to control but you keep messing with it you’ll Get it. For the price of the keyboard and the types of switches it’s a great starter keyboard I believe. I requested red switches but on accident I got sent yellow switches which aren’t even an option. But after research they are just a bit heavier then reds but still feel amazing. Also customer support did resolve my switch problem so 5 stars!!!

> 3 dayI bought this keyboard because I wanted to switch up my set up and had seen this keyboard on a Youtuber’s recommended list. I bought the key board with the blue switches and they feel just like any other blue switch very clicky but with a pretty premium build. Overall the board seems to be well made and the lighting is insane on this keyboard it is probably the coolest thing about it. I had a minor defect with the lighting on my board but customer service was super friendly and easy to contact and I was able to get a replacement that has fully functioning lights! Overall I’m super stoked about this keyboard and if you’re in the market for a mechanical/ gaming keyboard this is definitely worth checking out!

> 3 dayMy 11 year old daughter spent her birthday money to buy this keyboard. It looked/felt/typed great for about 7 months and then the lights just stopped working for the keys. Weve tried everything but cant get the key lights working again, though the lights around the border still work. Loved it while it worked but now is just a regular keyboard for an expensive price that cant be used in low light settings. UPDATE: The XVX shop didnt have any hints nor did we see how to contact them, but reading the questions under the product we learned that FN + The backspace key for 5-7 does a factory reset, which caused the lights to start working again.

> 3 dayGot this K87 with the Gateron Yellow Linear Switch option (the best of the switches, in my opinion) and have been enjoying this keyboard after some modding (changing keycaps, lubing switches and stabilisers) Out of the box it is a decent keyboard. The large keys (spacebar, shift, enter, backspace) can be a bit noisy due to the stabilizers but that was the only real thing i improved. After lubricating and putting some tape to quiten them and then lubricating the switches, it became a great keyboard even without factoring in the great price! The RGB is smooth and bright. Great animations and customizability. The only thing i can think they can realistically do is provide some larger feet for those that prefer an angled typing surface. I had to purchase some rubber feet seperately to give it a small 6 degree angle. The other thing is that you cant dim the brightness of the outer RGB ring - only the interior section.

> 3 dayI ordered this larger, sturdier keyboard as a replacement for another I had purchased within the week before, that came with a faulty FN key and made secondary functions useless, which was an incredible issue as the keyboard only had 60% of its keys. Within FOUR DAYS of using this keyboard, for simple work functions I would like to add, nothing intensive, it broke. The RGB’s panicked, shut down, only returned the rim lightning to “normal” after unplugging and replugging, and left the actual keyboard completely and utterly unusable. NONE of the keys worked. I tried pushing reset buttons, pulled the cord again, let the keyboard sit, attempted to utilize the company software, NOTHING fixed it. For $80 before tax, this was beyond upsetting, an incredible waste of time, and has left me in a bind with my working capabilities as I don’t have another readily available keyboard to use in its place. I should mention, this was on a Windows computer, not a Mac. I will be returning ASAP.

Greater than one weekupdate - company was very willing to fix issues & work with me to solve this problem The RGB feature of the base is messed up after about a month of use. I use the keyboard with it off but it’s still frustrating how fast it broke.

Greater than one weekThis keyboard works, is already nice stock, and I personalized it to my preference by replacing the Gateron Blue with Kailh BOX Jade, and the stock OEM shimethru keycaps with XDA Manekineko keycap set. I read a review that apparently, due to the hotswap nature, the keys and keyswitches fall out of the board if you flip it upside down- this does not at all happen for me. If anything, the keyswitches are to me quite firmly in there- there are some little recesses in the acrylic for the keyswitch hooks to fit into. I suspect the other reviewer may have improperly installed their switches, or used very worn out or misshapen switches. I saw in another reviewer complain the boards plastic case is flimsy and will flex if you twist it. It does flex a little when I twist it but thats such a weird and deliberate action- the cases slight flex is just not an issue at all for daily typing and use. Maybe this is a problem if you bring your keyboard with you in a flexible bag? But I feel the reports of this keyboard being too flexible are very exaggerated. I noticed the stock images show different keycap fonts on the keycaps. I attached a pic of my stock keycaps to show the font used on the version I received in Feb 2021. It is a much cleaner font than the kind of ugly font you see on most cheap shinethrough keycaps.
