My budgie had the same cage except for the guillotine door which was not safe.so I decided to replace his old one with this one and the drop down door. My main concern is safety and this cage is completely safe for him. It was easier than I anticipated putting it together. Great cage for the money and perfect for my budgie.

It’s very big and decent for the price but it’s not very sturdy plus there’s also random bigger gaps like on the door of mine it doesn’t completely go into place? It’s not a problem for me but still not that well made

The cage has a nice large and secure door in the front that I can open to bring my birds out of their cage. Everything pieced together nicely as well and it looks like it will be sturdy and easy to clean.

If anything needs to be put in the cage larger than the small door, the large door creates a big opening that I do not like. Might be fine for other birds but not canaries and finches. Makes it easy for them to get out. No side doors. Quality seems the same as other cages of this size/type. Side handles are nicer than others that have only one handle on the top

It’s an okay cage but nothing like the divided breeder they sell with the stand. This cage does not have a divider!

The metal used in the bars isn’t as sturdy as some other cages of the same size, and some of the bars came slightly bowed. Very pretty color (almond), but I’m hesitant to put another cage on top.

Directions that came with cage was only pictures. It was all twisted on how supposed to go. And the cage was crooked. Once finally got it out together there was gaps in the pieces. When it sits on table it’s just warped on the bottom and doesn’t sit evenly. Husband threw the box away before we could get it set up for our bird and where wanted to see that it was crooked. And was warped badly. Can’t send it back.
