21-11-2024I purchased a new boat last spring. It has a Yamaha 225 outboard. I only put this on the engine when transporting, but I do drive from Nashville to the gulf coast, so many of the trips are 8-12 hour drives about 4-5 times a year and a little local boating. I noticed after about 8 months, the the inner rubber started splitting out. I contacted the vendor on Amazon and got zero response, I waited a couple of weeks before writing a critical review. It is a very expensive price for what it is and considering that they do not have any warranty. I suggest finding something better.

> 3 dayThere are no rise units that this product can slide over on the newer models. Thus leaving this product useless I dont like to give out a one star review but when the company is non responsive to your request for a return it leaves you no other choice. The weight of your engine over large bumps in the road should be thrust down to your trailer not your transom or engine components. Standard transom savers are centered proportionately for weight distribution eliminating the motor turning with the steering column or having to purchase an additional lock to eliminate the left right
