Yardley of London April Violets Perfumed Talc, 7 Oz, Made in England - NEW FORMULA

This product, April Violets Perfumed Talc by Yardley of London, was defective when I received the package. There was a crack on the top seam of the talcum can; , talcum powder was all over the inside package when it arrived. Item was returned sometime in July and to date, August 5, 2019, I have not received a refund.

I got this as a gift for my friend who has been searching relentlessly for some Violet scented body powder. She absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for such a wonderful product and such great service! I’m pretty sure I will be getting her some more soon.

I ordered the Violet scent and boy oh boy, it stinks like musk. It’s terribly strong and not at all floral. Will be returning.

I buy this talcum powder regularly and it smells wonderful and lasts a long time.

Well the packaging is beautiful the powder works like powder. It doesnt smell very much like violets, and having been a fan of Yardley soap for so long, I was really hoping for something better as my purchase from yardley. I have used other Violet patters before, especially for the healing properties in them and I dont really find that this product meet my choice. I would use it if I cannot find the brand that I am looking for, but its not my first choice.

Used Yardley powder in my teens...forget about it...now its scent has brought back memories...

It came in a stand up tin container. The powder was heavy. I couldnt really smell much scent and what I did smell seemed somewhat generic, in that a man or a woman could have worn it. Definitely not a girly scent. I like feminine scents like roses or lavender. I thought violets sounded natural. It is and some would love this very natural scent. I just want more of a floral.scent and I just didnt get it. For someone who wants a barely there scent to go to work or places scents arent appreciated this might be for you.
