I chose this bag to use for knitting. As I was setting up the bag, I noticed the velcro that is used to set up the dividers was catching and tearing up my yarn. I thought of removing the dividers, but the harder part of the velcro was attached to the bag. I returned this bag and opted for a different bag for about the same price with sewn dividers and I am delighted. This bag could be used for something else, but I would not recommend for knitting or crocheting if you want your yarn and projects intact.

I absolutely love this bag. I was getting tired of my yarn flopping around in a plastic bag and had a desire to keep the project pieces Im working on in a bag with my yarn. This is perfect for what Im working on (a granny square blanket). I love that it has a place I can slide my pattern book into, has a lid that flaps open so my yarn isnt rubbing on a zipper, has spots to put my own crochet hooks and other bits and pieces, the small zipper pouch that holds my pencil and small scissors, and finally, the clear pockets on the top and side. The pattern on the bag is also adorable. Really happy with it.
